  • How "Kiddy" is this game?
My wife enjoys cooking games but this one looks a bit too basic compared to the others (Cook Serve Delicious and so on).

    • Looks basic but for $10 you can't go wrong right?

It was $3.29 a few months ago on the eShop. This is for PS4 and a physical edition though.

    • Love a good Nintendo eShop deal but yes this is physical PS4

      digital is just a rental.

      • Not sure what you mean. Can still access my digital downloads from PS3 from 17 years ago? You could have got it for 3 times less the value and enjoy it in your "rental" library for the next 20 years at least.

yeah not sure if you've been following a lot of events, a lot of ps3 digital library content has been delisted and can't be accessed anymore. Some can some can't.

People area already having issues with content even being deleted or altered from their ps5 libraries as of recent too.

Look I get people love digital for the lazyness of it, but end of the day you've got no legal right to it if they decide they don't want to provide it anymore and it's been shown time and time again.

Some of the most collectible games right now of the modern era are titles that can be bought for a few bucks digital and a physical version of it has gone insane with value appreciation.

To a lot of us "dinosaurs" or physical only people, theres just no comparisson to physical from digital, end of the day i've got a game I can use forever, yours can be revoked when they feel like it.

@typhoonadventure: I have my PS3 right here and checked it before. My library of 1,200+ digital games are there for me to download and just tested one. That's 17 years I didn't have to worry about the space for the physical discs or paying a premium price for them, I got all of them on sale. There are 100s that are digital only too.

What's the % of games being removed and disappeared? 95% of games stay and you have access to. I'm no dino, I have over 1,000 physical copies. Space becomes an issue too and your physical media isn't forever, never heard of disc rot? I bet digital media will live longer than your physical edition, eventually. You will have to realise, everything is rent. You will never own anything forever. So might as well enjoy both worlds. If that digital game disappears, get the physical.

Oh and I have been keeping up-to-date, Xbox Marketplace goes down soon, so make sure you get those digital only games before they go, physical won't save you there!

            • @RocketSwitch: You realize ps3 online shop was due to be shut down last year and only reason it's still up is backlash and sony are still planning to nuke it right?

              • @typhoonadventure: Yep, I made a list and purchased everything I wanted just before they pulled that move to keep it. That doesn't mean they are removing your ability to not download your library.
