Western Digital Caviar Green 750GB SATAII 16MB (WD7500AACS) - $105.00

161

Just spotted this special on the Centrecom website. Cheapest on staticICE is $109, and that shop does not have stock.

The Caviar Green line is part of WD's effort to be "green", and therefore uses less power than their other drives. Performance suffers though as they run at 5400RPM rather than 7200RPM (appears to be common consensus verified through HD performance tests).

Great for mass storage such as backups. WD drives come with 3 year warranty.

Look up the dictionary for the definition of rude and you will see a picture of the Greek guy at the Frankston centrecom store.

Go price match the offer at landmark. There more than happy to beat centrecom's prices.

That's not Nimitz's fault. Don't punish the finder.

      Good job mate.

        exactly..

      • Exactly how am I punishing the finder ?

I voted for the deal not the poster.

So how is $105 for this drive not a bargain? COnsidering the benchmark of cheapness is MSY, and they sell the drive for $119?

That's pretty tight. Even if Landmark pricematch, say thank you to the poster for finding a lower price first.
