Hi everyone,
Just thought I would ask the question to consumers regarding what specific things they look for when purchasing authentic goods online. For example, we only sell authentic goods and we want to distinguish ourselves from any websites that sell fakes/ripoffs for obvious reasons.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
DA
To me,the more a site emphasizes the "we sell only authentic " or "100% genuine or your money back " etc,the more i get a little suspicious of said site.If you have to be so desperate in your marketing that you feel you have to over- emphasize that which should just be a given,i feel it is a case of "why do you feel you have to do this?Something to hide,or are you trying to convince yourselves here ?".If item is on an Ebay listing,if they are using the original manufacturer's/designer's/artist's advertising or press pics, with NO original or very vague pics of their own,i INSTANTLY know this is not a genuine item (i have been proved right in this theory many times.)Lastly, overly Photoshopped/glossy pics in anything but the original advertising from actual manufacturer gets me a little concerned.
