Sorry to hijack your comment, but figured it's probably the most appropriate place to put this (and also gives it better visibility, to be honest, but that was not the main reason for me commenting here).

I've got a gripe with Dreame on this competition (side note, I have entered and posted my code below). I'd take this up with Dreame but don't want to ruin mine or any other OzBargainer's chances of winning (not that it should, but you know…). If I remember, I will take it up with them after the winner has their prize.
Dreame clearly state in the terms and conditions:
20.This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Dreame Australia and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Australian standard Privacy Policies.
And yet on the registration page, my Facebook container add-on in Firefox is flagging the email address input box with the message:
If you user your real email address here, Facebook may be able to track you.
Which it does when a form, button or login will send data to Facebook, which is in direct contradiction with the quoted clause of Dreame's Terms and Conditions for this competition.
Now I figure some people will hand-wave have Facebook accessing data like that this as "normal behaviour", which they're right - but that doesn't mean it should be acceptable nor should businesses claim that Facebook doesn't get any data yet still willingly hand it over. Dreame didn't need to use an email address form that gives Facebook any data for this competition page - it was a choice they (or the developers of the page for this) made.
Am I out of touch? Is it the children who are wrong? Please, (constructively) discuss/debate this with me :)
Thanks for sharing Phalaxis.
