Just beware that larger rolls may not fit into some paper towel holders.

It's always the girth that makes the difference.

Good price, same as Costco price.

  • How this is compare to 3 PLY $1.17 / 100 Sheets

I don't know why but $1.17 is generally my golden number to spot for paper towels at the supermarket. Used to see it at Coles with the Handee packs but only seem to catch that price occasionally at Woolies now.

Guess what I'm saying is, yeah that price goes alright. I generally buy more than I can carry when I see it.

    Thanks op, stocked up.

How do people compare the select a size option? I know you get a bit less in material, but honestly I find the full size papers a bit overkill. The half size ones are more than enough most of the time personally.

I still went with the double length option only cos it's technically the better deal. Now I'm considering using scissors to extend the double length.

Total length is same as regular viva, which means you're only getting half value.

      • Yeah I had a quick look and double length seems to spec at 43x29x42 while select a size comes in at 43x37x22.

With high school maths I did a quick estimation by concluding the select a size was only about 5x7cm less, assumed that's how simple cubic dimensions were and realised that high school maths isn't applicable to real life if you don't know what you're doing.

        • It actually says it on an asterix in the rear product packaging in the second image.

  • Isnt this more expensive than normal for the select a size?
Edit: Yep it is i paid $20.50 just a couple of months back on my subscription

    Thanks OP.
In other sellers it shows $20.99 from a KFAU Mart if anyone wants to take a chance and can wait a bit longer. I stuck with Amazon.

Needed some paper towels but catch have 4 x 3 packs select-a-size for $21 delivered if you have onepass.

    • Not much of a saving when Woolies has 3 pack select-a-size for $5.50 everyday

      • Agree, but my local WW/Coles is either a 70min or 90min return drive away, so I tend to factor in cost of charging the car and the extra travel time for these deals.

WW at the moment have the double length 3 pack for $8 which makes it $16 for the equivalent paper towels too. eg: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/157334/viv…

    Amazon says..
VIVA Select-A-Size Paper Towel 12 Rolls
Last Ordered on 23 July 2023
    Grand Total:$15.84 (S&S)
That's almost a 50% price hike in less than a year. Still a deal?

Edit: despite the price - having the ability to select the size had made my previous stock still going strong.

    • November 2021 was $9.60. My last purchase anyways

  • Does anyone rate those resuable paper towels? Never really tried them. I often rinse and dry baby wipes (when used on food etc) and found they last a couple of days

    • It's pretty good, I use it for cleaning which lasts me about few days
