Hi all had a quick question
I bought a Hisense U80g 8k TV from Costco about 2 years ago which is still under warranty. It stopped working, I made a claim with Hisense and they are saying it's not repairable after having a look. They are giving me store credit for Costco or a 4k TV which is not even an Android TV. (VIDDA OS). Also to use the store credit I will have to buy Costco membership again. Just needed suggestions on how to reply to their email now. To be honest I don't think I am gonna get a 75-inch 8k TV anywhere close to the price.
Edit- It's been a month, I have contacted hisense and told them I am not paying for the pickup and dropoff of the TV from my house to Costco. They are saying they aren't authorised to pay me for that and Costco is saying they don't provide drop off and pickups even if it's under warranty. It's only $100 but it's the second time I had this issue with Hisense and I paid last time a few years ago. Should I just pay for it or am I entitled to them paying it?
Thanks
Why are you dealing with Costco and not Hisense? How did Costco even know your TV is not repairable, did they get someone to look at it? If you can get store credit for the price you paid for it then that might be an option. Just wait until they have an 8K TV with Android on sale again?
