      Long trip or a few days? If a few days, it would always feel like too much because they count the day of pick up and drop off as full days. With site fees on top, it is cheaper to book a 4 star hotel with breakfast included!
      If you want to do a long trip, then google caravan rental places and ring around to negotiate. Some of them will be keen to get some cashflow if they don’t have enough demand.

      I luckily have two mates with caravans sitting around so I give them a reasonable amount of cash to borrow theirs.

        Going away for 3 weeks. So the second option seems like more logical.
        Having friends around who own one is definitely ideal, i have cheap friends. 🤣
