Much better cashback rate than ShopBack’s deal

The main important questions that everyone will be asking are (so please don’t ask them again in the comments ;)):

Will using Amazon gift card balance still be eligible for the cashback

Cashback is eligible if you use a gift card as payment for your purchase.

Is S&S eligible for cashback?

Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders in eligible categories are eligible).

  7. Cashback Bonus will appear in your account as a new transaction, only when cashback for the initial purchase reaches the pending stage.
  8. Cashback Bonus will be payable when the initial purchase becomes payable.
  9. If you cancel your order, or the merchant deems the transaction as ineligible for cashback, the Cashback Bonus will be removed.
  10. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed.

50c is 50c but much better is a bit of a stretch.

No 0% categories at the moment which is fantastic, minus the usual culprits of course.

  • The only downside is that it can't be across multiple transactions.

    • What’s the upside of multiple transactions?

      • +1

I don't know how to spend $30 in one hit but know I'll accumulate it

        • +1

          In one day?

          • @Nem0: Possibly, esp if grabbing random pantry items, but also because s&s orders sometimes track individually - so being able to set up multiple across the day works.

            • @blighst: Good point about S&S orders, didn’t think about that!

  • +3

    Last similar deal didn't track

    • Did you report it as missing?

      • Not yet will do now

  • Does this work with s&s?

    • First S&S yes. Make sure it’s a new one :)

      • +1

        Yep! Thanks!

      • Make sure it’s a new one

Do you mean a product you have never purchased using S&S discount before?

If I bought Eneloops using S&S just for the initial discount, and then obviously cancelled the S&S after the product has been shipped, it should still work if I buy the same product (i.e. same ASIN) again using S&S, no?

        • +1

It should work. You can create multiple S&S for the same item. Every new order you make with S&S creates a new one. @DoctorCalculon

Don't quote me but previously it has worked for me.

    • Yes :)

Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders in eligible categories are eligible).

      I’m slow to reply :’(

you must be a member of TopCashback.com.au

    Okay, got that.

  • Do I need to clear my cart before using the link from this platform?

    • Hi @ethannguyen yes please, this is done to increase your chances of tracking. Many thanks.

Almost everytime I use Topcashback nothing tracks and the only time anything ever tracked was when they had the crazy cash back offer with Boost.

    • Hi @illyphilly Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've encountered with our service.

"Cashback is ineligible on purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment."

  • @TopCashback AU Rep thanks for your responsive replies :)

    • so does $30 need to be spent in a single transaction, or can it be across multiple?

    • if a discount coupon is offered on a listing, and given as promotional credit at checkout, then does accepting/applying/redeeming it make the order ineligible for cashback?

    • @tonester here to help! :)
      - the $30 can be spent across multiple transactions
      - unfortunately the use of promotional credit to pay in partial or full won't be eligible for cashback

      • +1

the $30 can be spent across multiple transactions

so then this from the T&Cs isn't correct?

        • You are eligible for a Cashback Bonus for a maximum of 1 individual purchase.

        ShopBack's was across multiple

        • @tonester, sorry to clarify, I mean mutiple transactions within the same basket.

          • @TopCashback AU Rep: @TopCashback AU Rep sorry, I’m talking about Amazon transactions (1 order of multiple items = 1 transaction), not TopCashback transactions (1 Amazon order of multiple items = multiple cashback transactions)

can I make 2 separate orders which total $30 and still receive $3.50 cashback, as was the case with ShopBack’s $3?

            • @tonester: Thank you @I Smell Pennies. @tonester it is 1 Amazon transaction which could be of multiple items totalling $30+ that makes you eligible for this cashback. Many thanks.

        • I think what it means is that you can’t make for example 3 transactions and get 3x $3.50 bonuses but rather if you make 3x transactions you will only get 1x $3.50 bonus, allocated to the first eligible transaction.

It doesn't track when using amazon gift card.

    • -1

Would be good to have clarification here as the OPs comments seems different than what's on the TC site

      • +1

Where is it different on TC site?

If you head to Amazon on TC, and then go to “What else is essential?”, you can find the 2 quotes that I got from there

        If you’re referring to these:

Purchases of vouchers, gift cards, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.
Cashback is ineligible on purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.

Purchases of gift cards means buying another gift cards on Amazon itself, and Amazon credit is the “promotional credit”, not gift card as these two are shown differently at the checkout screen

    • Usually tacks 24 hrs after item is dispatched from amazon warehouse

    • Where does it mention that it doesn’t track when using Amazon gift card?

The one that is in OP’s description was from the Amazon landing page itself

  • is this eligible with

Save 5% on any 2 qualifying items

    which adds a

    Promotion(s) Applied:

to checkout but still follows TopCashbackAU terms as i did not

Using a discount code or voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.

seems risky but if S&S shows "Promotion(s) Applied" guess it'll be okay

  • -1

Will purchase of Amazon gift card be eligible??

    • What will stop me getting my cashback?

Using a discount code or voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
      Bulk, commercial, or reseller purchases.
Purchases made on other sites than Amazon's AU site
Purchases of vouchers, gift cards, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals.
Cashback is ineligible on purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders are ineligible for cashback (only first Subscribe & Save orders in eligible categories are eligible).
Purchases paid with any Amazon credit will result in your cashback in ineligible.
If you return or cancel your order then you will no longer be eligible for cashback and you will see the cashback move to Declined in your account.

    Hi @TopCashback AU Rep,

I made a purchase through Amazon using TopCashback at 9:57pm last night (21/3). Is there anyway I could be made eligible for this bonus?

    Thanks

    • Hi @cat-party To be eligible for this promotion, you must make a purchase through TopCashback between 00:00 AEDT and 23:59 AEDT on 22nd March, 2024.

      Many thanks.

  • Hey @TopCashback AU Rep, I know there are no categories with 0%, but there are categories not mentioned at all in the % section, for eg. Apparel/Clothing, what happens with those categories? Still eligible?

    Thanks

    • +1

      Wouldn’t it fall under this:

      All Other Purchases 1%

      • +1

Thanks, totally missed that while searching for specific categories using Cmd+F, my bad

  • If anyone is looking for things to buy like me, this Gatorade is pretty cheap with S&S - https://www.amazon.com.au/Gatorade-G-Active-Mango-Flavoured-…

  • Does anyone else not trust this site's max claims without notification that it has passed. Seems intentionally scammy and no way of knowing if they only authorised a small portion of what they promised

    • Wdym? There’s no max redemption claims unlike the ShopBack’s offer. Happy for the @TopCashback AU Rep to confirm this

      • There’s no max claims with these offers.

        • Got burnt buying a fire stick last prime day (pun wasn't intended whilst typing). Definitely makes me inclined not to use them again even if they have the best rate

    • Thanks @BargainsGrabber and @I Smell Pennies
@Frosty Soy if I understand you perfectly, in a normal scenario, one would only need one claim per transaction. I hope that answers you otherwise, please clarify your question.
      Many thanks.

      • Some items have a capped redemption amount, you don't display when this limit is reached. I don't like this practice and it probably doesn't encourage customer return. Maybe it was only a prime day deal policy as I haven't returned.

        • +1

@Frosty Soy thank you for clarifying. We would clearly communicate whether the capped has been reached - for Prime Day, we can confirm that the cap wasn't reached and so if you did place an order, your cashback would have been honored.

If you would like us to look at your transaction, you can pm me with your member details as I think it must have been something else that perhaps went wrong.

          Many thanks.
