For those with an interest in laser engraving and cutting, the Creality Laser Falcon 2 is currently available with a discount in two power options.

The 22W version is priced at AUD$1,010.65 when using the discount code FALCON28 and can be found here:

The 12W model is offered at AU$696.15 with the code FALCON15 available here:

Both versions include free shipping.

The Creality Laser Falcon 2 can be used for personalising items such as cutting boards, allowing for a touch of individuality. It's also suitable for crafting a variety of decorative pieces, whether for personal gifts or even as products for a small business venture.

Both the 12W and 22W versions come equipped with an air assist feature, allowing cleaner cuts and engravings. The 12W model can slice through 10mm of wood in a single pass, while the 22W version can even handle up to 15mm. The 12W has a bit finer engraving laser spot of 0.06*0.08mm due to the need to focus only two laser diodes, compared to the 22W's spot size of 0.1mm. Upgrades to 22W or 40W modules are possible later on. The 22W laser is also capable of engraving on metals such as stainless steel and can create colourful engravings by varying the speed and power settings. Both models allow for engraving speeds of up to 25000mm/s.

Compatible with LaserGRBL, a free software for Windows, and LightBurn, a more advanced option available for Windows, Linux, and Mac (with a 30-day trial), these engravers can handle pictures, vector graphics, texts, and shapes. They also support offline engraving via a micro SD card. Safety features include fire detection, lens cleaning alerts, and airflow monitoring from the air assist. It's important to use the included laser protection goggles and operate the laser safely, particularly around others. Assembly is straightforward and user-friendly.
