    GST is required for AU customers as we are based in Australia. Charging USD as a lot of our customers and the more common currency is USD for us. It's easier for customers, not us.

    These are recurring discounts. You'll be able to keep your prices lifetime. These are running special plans different from those on our website.

    If anyone has any problems with currency/conversion issues/charges, let me know and we'll see what we can do.

  Seems like servers are at Colocrossing NY (good DC), although I personally have gripes with OpenVZ platform. It is prone to overselling so depends on how many VPS' are on each node.

  Domain only registered in September 2012.

  @Zum, You will need a Xen VPS to run OpenVPN last time I checked.

  Overall, not much of a deal really, ~$5 VPS are common, eg: on lowendbox

    Usually for OpenVZ you just need the provider to enable virtualised tun device and you can run OpenVPN. Must providers with SoulsVM it's just a few clicks.

  Since the accounts allow root access to the Linux virtual machine, can I run any program I like?

      Thanks for that. Was looking for the AUP. CPU usage isn't mentioned, although I assume anyone hogging the virtual CPU would get their account throttled.

        We will provide a warning and work with you if you do continuously abuse any allocation, however, in most cases this shouldn't be an issue unless if affects others.

  Here's a comparison of prices for small boxes. Remember that traffic and co-lo fees are cheaper in the US, so the price should theoretically be less. If this was hosted in AU, I would have shut my mouth.

  LEB has a great community, much like an OzB version for VPS deals.

  EDIT: Oh, and OpenVZ allows the service provider to allow over-provision/over-subscription of resources (i.e. stick 1000 virtual machines with 1 GB of RAM for everyone's VM when it only has 16GB of physical RAM). Stick to Xen, or the likes of it.

    Every type of virtualization can be oversold to some extent. It's a misunderstanding that Xen cannot be. I promise we will not oversell 16GB to 1000GB as you described. This will make it very unstable and unreliable - bad for customers and us. We ensure good performance and reliability.

      Every web hosting company promises that, and you've probably seen too many such promises on LowEndBox. I haven't really been visiting that site since the beginning of this year, but just make sure we don't see you ending up in a dead pool post :)

        On LowEndBox there are also people that sell things for a lot cheaper. We do not try to race to the bottom and never will - you will see hosts there that only reply once in 24 hours. Not something we do. We ensure support is part of our pricing model.
