    Anyone know if current plus subscribers can get the coupon and add the extra month onto our subscription? Would be nice to just tack on a free month. When you buy additional months they usually stack.

    Pretty good if you got access to the free games. I'm subscribed to PSN Plus and I joined up only a few months ago but I still have so many games to play. Bad thing is that after the trial period they'll be locked out until you renew so hope you have the time to play the games when you redeem the trial within the 30 days.

    Either way, free trial can't hurt so long as you don't accidentally roll over the subscription.

      I've never tried Plus before - when the period is over, and any games you downloaded get locked out, can I get rid of them from my PS3 system, ie: delete/uninstall them? I don't want locked out games I'll probably never use again taking up valuable HDD space. Thanks

        Note that, as pimko mentioned above, you can buy games at the Plus discount. Any games you buy are NOT locked out if Plus expires.

    The cancellation FAQ on Sony's site says something to the tune of 'cancellation will take effect at the end of your current subscription'. Anyone know if you can just redeem your free month and then immediately cancel to get the full subscription without risking forgetting a month later?

        Yes, even if you cancel the auto-renew immediately you keep the remaining days.

    So annoying, I was under 18 when I made my PSN account so I can't add my credit card details so I can't subscribe.

      Damn. Had a similar problem setting up an Xbox for a friend years ago. He was under 18 so we signed up with his father's email address as consent. The trouble was, his father couldn't remember the password for his email lol. There wasn't any way to go back either!
