I personally wouldn't bother. It's mostly cosmetic stuff, with one "unlock everything for multiplayer" pack.
Cool thanks for that
Good game.
Does the ultimate edition come with all the DLC? It doesn’t seem like it going by my library
This has a comparison of the editions. https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/titanfall/titanfall-2/buy/pc#…
Looks to me like Ultimate comes with all the DLC. Steam seems to imply that it doesn't, but I reckon it does based on that link above.
Steam description:
Ultimate Edition includes Titanfall™ 2 base game, Deluxe Edition content (Scorch & Ion Prime Titans, Deluxe Edition Warpaint for 6 Titans, Deluxe Edition Camo for all Titans, Pilots & Weapons, Deluxe Edition Nose Arts for 6 Titans, Deluxe Edition Callsign), and Jump-Starter content (All Titans unlocked, all Pilot tacticals unlocked, 500 credits to unlock loadouts, cosmetics and gear, 10 2x XP tokens, the Underground R-201 Carbine Warpaint).
Bought, then realised you need the damn EA client to play…then never played it…
Haven't purchased yet, so you can't launch this directly in Steam client like any other Steam delivered game?
It's more seamless than it was years back, but yeah you open the game through steam which then triggers the game to open EA's software which then opens the game lol. Ubisoft games do this too.
What's the point buying it on Steam if it requires the EA game client to run. You might as well have bought it from the EA store.
@hollykryten: Depends on how much you resent current EA as a company lol. If you buy from Steam then Steam get 30% of the money
@NuttyGoodness: If you resent EA then why would you be buying EA games?.
@hollykryten: Some of their older games might be interesting to you before loot boxes, unfinished games and $20 “micro” transactions became the norm
You might as well have bought it from the EA store.
Better Steam Deck (and Linux) support. Installing the EA client is more annoying than just relying on Steam to handle it.
@parabola3410: I see. That's a good point.
Bought this game when it first released at full price, worth every cent.
Multiplayer might be dead now but $4 is worth it for the single player alone
Amazing campaign.
Still haven’t played a better one since this.
Excellent story.
Nice graphics with low hardware requirements. Recorded this gameplay footage on an i7-2600k with rx580 https://youtu.be/jCwPhrKUcAk?feature=shared
Worth just for the single player
Worth it for the single player campaign, one of the better campaigns for a first person shooter.
Same developer as Apex Legends, always loved their gunplay mechanics/animations.
They were developing TF3.. and then scrap it for AL.
Sad day for everyone when that happened.
I wish the sp was longer!
Thanks. Been wanting to check this one out.
Is this good for online steam coop with friends?
There is no co-op.
do people still play this game?
No, multiplayer has been dead for ages. It was literally dead for like 12 months, hackers brought it down.
they finally fix it last September - try it for few days back then seem working fine.
Anyone know if this still has issues with stuttering at high frame rates?
~10 hours game play for $3.99, worth it, good graphic, good shooting.
Viper's got you in the pipe, 5x5
is this on ps5?
Answering my own question - it is. Found it for $2.49 - good deal!
Deal is still live, I just purchased on Steam for $3.99
Not expired stil 3.99
I have the base game, is the DLC any good?
