Hi
Got the recent Samsung deal $879
But then thinking of the LG 75inc for $1100
Thoughts?
LG 75" UR8050 vs samsung 75inch cu8000
Seems to be equal imo

The first version of Samsung store I tried was a buggy mess (this was on a flagship Q9 model) so I'm hesitant to use the Tizen OS version,l as a deciding factor when a $50 dongle can do a much better job
The one next to the other one.
I'm coming purely from a place of support here, but:
A couple of years ago I reached out to LG Support about my OLED TV (main TV) because it developed a thin vertical line. They replaced the panel for free despite the TV being just under 3 years out of warranty. TV still going strong since then.
In December last year, I reached out to Samsung Support about my LED TV (bedroom TV), because suddenly it developed a problem where it would automatically power off 5 seconds after turning it on. Samsung told me I would have to bear the costs of the repair, despite the TV being only 4 months out of warranty.
LG did a similar thing for us with a fridge 2 years out of warranty, funny thing is we had extended warranty but TGG was playing hard ball, went direct to LG and they issued a direct replacement with shipping and removal of old model all included!
Samsung has awful customer service and they even have ads embedded in their UI.
I know not the answer you're looking for but both those TVs are bottom of barrel bargain TVs, which are not much better than $500-600 Kogan or no names.
Try stretching budget by a few more $100 and get a TCL mini LED.
Mini led is a scam, same as qled, it's either oled or nothing nowadays.
It really isn't a scam, it gets very close to OLED for a fraction of a cost, while getting much brighter and having zero fear of burn in.
I'm wondering if you've seen one in person.
I've got a friend with a 85inch TCL Mini LED (the C45 or whatever the top of the range is) they paid around $3500 for it, and it looks magnificent in day or night.
Streamio is available in the Samsung store.
This would be the decider for me.
