Parents Epson XP-800 printer has stopped working recently. Displays the message that "the Printer's ink pads are at the end of there service life. Please contact Epson Support"
The waste ink pads and box are easy to get and replace. I also understand that I need to use some sort of service utility to reset the wast ink counter. I looked this up and it seems the only way to do this is to buy a reset key from a third party seller. Just wondering if there is a free method to do this? If not what seller would be recommended to buy a reset key from?

Otherwise you might have to stump up 10 bux for a reset key from WIC
