  Have had this router for around 3-4 years. Rock solid, but there's newer model's out now so not sure if this is a great bargain

      you sacrifice distance for speed. I don’t think wifi 7 is that useful to a lot of mainstream users….

      Good point - Didn't see the "pro" portion, so answer would be no. I have the non-pro version. Point still stands though, there are newer versions out there, if you're going to spend this much money, get the newer version e.g. GT-AXE16000 - has been down to around $850-900, possibly less if you can wait for black friday deals
