  • Missed this. Brain was not thinking last night. Didn't realise Boost's Telstra login would work.

  • Anyone booked for Perth moonlight session successfully? Mine shows I have to redeem Telstra points

    • Nope. I think they're exhausted. I grabbed tickets for Innaloo.

  • Thank you

  • +1

Thanks booked for the family at Karingal

  • Has anyone tried to book more than 4 tickets by trying to book again using the same login?

  • +1

I got my booking but no seat no allocated. Is this same for others?

  • No cinema within 4hrs of me so I got SA and sent to mum. Hope she can take the nephews or a friend. Thanks OP

  • +1

Just a quick note to say thanks for posting and sharing the deal.

  • -1

    Where is ACT? :(

    • You dont know where the nations capital is? FML.

  • Disappointing that this doesn't work for Moonlight Melbourne on the 23rd March.

  • Thanks for sharing @asifpau, you have provided free entertainment to many OzBargain families!

    • +2

And he sponsored an ozbargain meetup with free popcorn and drinks lol

@scotty @neil any chance you can show up to a few with ozbargain merchandise

  • Anyone get the moonlight Sydney session to work? It doesn’t show any exclusive t plus or $0 tickets on 22/3.

  • Any tips on booking for QLD ? Thanks.

  • Looks like Perth all sold out?

  • Got 4 thanks

  • still don't know how to change the time and date I wanna watch ghostbusters

  • Any idea why after login my Telstra plus account it's asking for Telstra number? Is it needed to buy these tickets?

  • Need to pay a booking fee now for moonlight cinema

  • How to choose different date from Telstra website? there is no option to do that?
I selected Doncaster and Plenty Valley

    There is only these options:

    • Select your state
    • Select cinema
    • Select movie

And when I clicked 'find session', it only shows 22, 23, 24 March only?

    Unless I missed the boat?…

    • +2

Yes, you have missed the boat.

  • If anyone changes their mind let me know and I will grab the tix. Thanks.
    Locations we can make:
Bondi Junction, Moonlight Sydney, George St, Top Ryde, Macquarie Centre, Castle Hill

    • Same, for me:
      - Doncaster
      - Plenty Valley
      - Knox

      TIA

  • Has anyone successfully changed the session? Like others, it won't let me 'complete order'. The button does not do anything. I've managed to add popcorn to have the final order for $18 by choosing popcorn then going back to the seat selection but it showed up as $71 on PayPal final screen even though the immediate previous screen was just $18.

    • I couldn’t change session either. The button didn’t do anything.

  • I have one ticket available on Saturday 6 April, 3.30 PM at Macquarie Cinema if anyone wants it.

    • Happy to take it off your hands if still available!

    • Now taken

  • I booked the tickets under my name, but won't be there myself. Would there be an issue in getting the tickets issued on the day?

    • You don't get any tickets you use your printed email to enter. Usually no ID required.

      • Thank you

  • Hi all, long time stalker here and I wouldn’t ask except…kids. If anyone has two spare tickets to the Doncaster showing, I’d be eternally grateful!

  • Has anyone been able to select a seat?

I'd hate to turn up and not be able to sit together.

    • Turn up as early as you can and you'll sit together. The film starts exactly on time with few if any advertisements.

      • +1

Obviously families and young children would need to sit together, as much I would love for someone else to look after my 5 year old and 3 of her friends.

  • +1

Reached out to Village Cinemas (VIC) and they said Telstra screenings don't do allocated seating so it'll be seat anywhere that's vacant.

  • My Event Cinemas ticket (Macquarie) for this Sat has seat numbers assigned. Will these seats be reserved on the day, rather than unallocated seating on a first come first served basis?

    • would like to know this as well, mine is for Parra

  • I am booked in for event cinemas upper Mt Gravatt and have got seat number assigned as well , will I get the same seats ? Or will it be working first comes first serve basis ?

  • All my seated got assigned too

  • Thanks OP, everyone gets a free drink and popcorn

  • Peace out to everyone at Forest Hill. We even got panda masks!

  • They are still setting up Parramatta session, dragging in trolleys of drinks and popcorn. No entry yet.

  • There are several staffs give popcorn and drinks at Plenty Valley, after you scan your barcode.

  • +1

There were sooo many empty seats at Macquarie Centre. Wish more people offered them to people who missed out if they weren’t going to come. Otherwise was a good experience, plenty of free drinks and popcorn. First time cinema experience for my kids, thanks OP :)

  • Finished the movie at the 3pm Macquarie with free popcorn and drinks. The kids had a great time. It was a shame that it was only half full, as some people took the tickets and didn’t go.

    • Enjoyed the free movie and popcorn and Drink in QLD Mt Gravatt . Was such a shame when I was booking all the seats were booked but when turned up to watch the movie nearly half of the theatre was empty apparently people booked and wasted the seats and don’t bother coming

      • Problem with offering free tickets.

Went to book zip line for gather round and there were none left. So lined up in what was meant to be a 2 hour line and got in due to no shows in about 45 hours.

  • +2

Worked a treat at Marion with free popcorn and drinks.

    Thanks so much!

    • I went to the 3pm session at Marion, it was pretty full from what i could see from near the front. The free popcorn and softdrink went down a treat, with a few smuggled in lollies.
      Movie wasnt too bad either.
      Thanks again OP.

  • Innaloo about 70-75% capacity at a glance

    • Forest Hill was booked solid only 60%. 480 seats

    • Went to the 330pm session there, was certainly not full.

God that cinema is in dire need of a proper reno. Karrinyup Hoyts ftw

  • +1

Knox was about 70-75% capacity as well. I was surprised some people actually turned up half way through.
Good cheap afternoon with the kids.

The movie was a bit average, and followed a predictable copy/paste kids movie plot. It referenced the previous movies a fair bit, which I hadn't seen. The Jack Black cover of "Baby one more time" was a treat during the credits.

  • +1

Movie was better than expected. Just as good as the previous films in the franchise.

One empty seat next to me so we ended up with an extra popcorn. Thanks OP.

  • Parramatta was maybe 60% full. Heaps of popcorn and drinks (water/coke/fanta/sprite) available throughout the movie (All you had to do was walk back to the table to grab them self serve). Movie was great. Thanks OP!

  • thanks OP and telstra

great afternoon.. free popcorn, drink and expensive choc tops for the win

  • Macquarie Centre 3pm session was only ~50% full.

  • Karingal was half empty too
