Exetel Pre Paid Mobile Service Cancellation Notice?

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm if Exetel require notice to port out/cancel their pre paid mobile service? The website suggest you do but when i called the rep said no, only NBN requires notice. Can anyone confirm? looking to port over to the Catch Connect service when my sims arrive but want to confirm if i can simply port out a few days before my next bill date or if i have to give notice.

  • All there calls should be recorded so go by what the rep said and you have in recorded too

          • @jv: Not sure if Exetel record their calls. They usually tell you in advance if calls are recorded. Cant recall hearing that when ive called.

            • @hazzad: Even if they did, they wouldn’t give you a copy.

  • I have never seen a post paid mobile plan with exetel. Please supply the link so I can check it out.

    • By post paid i mean month by month. Hoping ive used the working? That is i pay month to month on a plan.

      • It is pre paid then, HUGE difference. As I said, never seen post paid at Exetel. Please supply URL for post paid info.
