AliExpress have launched a new program called "AliExpress Business" that allows you to get 3% cashback on orders over US$100 with a maximum of US$45 cashback per order and up to US$90 cashback per day, per shopper. This is a targeted offer and you must use the AliExpress app.

This is more intended for dropshippers/wholesalers or people like me who order heaps (96 orders since Jan 1st). From what I can gather this doesn't interfer with cashback from Cashrewards/Topcashback/Shopback or coupon usage.

I should email them and find out what the prerequisites are.

    • where do you see that information?

  • i visited the business page and there was a button "verify now". i clicked on that and it came up with a prompt asking me to accept T&Cs, i clicked OK and then it said verification complete. but i am still unsure whether i become a verified business user

then i hopped on chat to talk to an agent and i don't think they really knew about it, suggesting it might only be for Europe?

    • You'll see in the app that the Choice button is replaced by Business. It's visible in my screenshot.

      • yes, i have the business button at the bottom. you think that is an indication that you are a "registered business user"?

        • Yes. The fact that the verification works says so.

  • Any good deals on the y700 tablets?

    • Nothing particularly good on the 2023 model. It's getting a global release and there's already a Japan version rebranded. Once the global variant is out we'll be able to reflash the CN version with the proper global ROM.

  • Ok it showed up immediately after payment. It tracked as the US$ price ex GST and shows as AUD in the Bonus screen.

On the desktop app through Cashrewards.

    • thanks, that's reassuring

On the desktop app through Cashrewards.

do you mean you used the desktop site to purchase instead of phone, and used cashrewards since the coupons automatically apply?

      • Yes Cashrewards through the desktop site.

  • i discovered the devil in the details. you can only use the bonus credits when you pay in AUD. when i changed to AUD, the exchange rate AliExpress was offering is 0.623 vs 0.651 using card in USD. so i will have to keep the credit for really small orders

  • @Clear Do you have an invite code (optional) for the Business Plus membership?

    • I don't believe you can invite people to it.

  • I've been an aliex business customer since it was introduced. I have never been able to actual use the credit. Some has 'timed out'. Spent hours on chat, never got a result, which is unfortunately common for them in recent times. They used to be really good on customer support. I also have a credit for posting something back to china that I never got, and don't get me started on the 3 from $X.XX section that illegally over charges GST (roughly double) - oddly enough it makes it about normal pricing then. So yeah don't get too excited by their promises. Be happy it's mostly cheap stuff, and accept aliex will burn you from time to time. Oh and years ago when they stopped showing your stats I was over 1000 transactions, recon I'm about 1,500 to 2,000 transactions by now.

    • The credit is valid for 90 days it would seem. Unfortunately most of my AliExpress orders are several lots of <$50 so I've only seen about $20 worth of credit so far.

For the GST I have an acknowledgement from the Alibaba AU team that it's being investigated and they aim to have it resolved this month. Time will tell.

Apparently there's a new VIP program coming out too.

      • Yeah Aliex is happy to refund other peoples money, but when it is their money it seems their motivation is lacking. I'm just surprised that every time they have a system in consistency it is in their favour, not ours. Fingers crossed they fix it this month. Yeah seen the VIP notice. I hope they get that sorted before roll out.

  • Interesting thanks OP 😊 👍
