    • +3

      Sir yes sir

    • +1

small chance I can get it when it reach $15xx, you know how brutal are ozbargainers

      • I got mine for 1500 mark, but that was on cyber Monday. Being last year's model chances are they will come down to that again, just a question of when.

    • ok dad

    • These diamond hands don't fold baby

Bought one last year on special for $1660. Great TV for the price.

  • +1

Very happy with mine. This is a good price.

$1785 Delivered @ The Good Guys via LiveChat Price Beat
Unsure if for all addresses but that's what the agent offered me

  • +2

I'm a bit out of the loop but are we finally starting to get the same models they get in North America? I know thats been the criticism of TCL and Hisense where North America get the good stuff.

    • +1

TCL still does NA specific models unfortunately. Thankfully they now give us the same model as Europe and they are pretty decent. That means we have decent review sources so we know what we're getting.

Hisense still shoveling their garbage specific to AU and the specs are vague so you have no idea what you're getting.

Just got one and very happy - my one major gripe: No Stan streaming in 4K.

    • Can't Chromecast it?

      • Could do. Bit annoying having to spend an extra $100 to get 4k streaming on a brand new TV though.

        • I just assumed Chromecast was built in

    • What do you mean. Does that mean Netflix won't stream in 4K too?

      • +1

No just STAN have not upgraded their native TV app for some devices

      • +1

Have used netflix, binge, disney, amazon etc and they're all 4k (hdr/dolby vision/imax where applicable)

Only one I havent used it Stan

        Great TV for the price

  • Great TV, there is some kind of noticeable blurring when sections of the screen (persons) move quickly which can be distracting - as if the screen can't keep up with the level of detail moving dynamically but overall very happy with the product for the price ~$1600 a while back.

    • Bad for sport? What causes that

      • +4

Have to change all the default settings to fix of you haven't tried already. Turn off all the motion smoothing, motion clarity, noise reduction etc. all the post processing causes blurring and uncanny motion. Once calibrated should be sweet

    • +2

I found turning off the motion settings fixed the blurring.

      • What's your sharpness number on? I got the same model and am trying to fine tune for sport. 4K sport is amazing but it struggles with 1080p, trying to watch the Aust NZ test was not very good at all.
I have just turned off all motion to see how the AFL is, just thought I would check on sharpness too.

        Thanks

    • +1

Have you turned off all motion smoothing? I have found all the TCL's I have used to have pretty horrendous motion smoothing but when disabled motion looks fine.

      • No but will do. Thanks.

  • What's the panel refresh rate? Is it 60Hz or 120 Hz?

    • 120

    • Yeah never by a TV without hdmi 2.1 running at 120hz.

  • +1

I just updated the firmware to the latest, and it's crazy good for the price.

  • +1

Wow pretty crazy that 75 inches is considered 'mini' these days

    • +4

It's "mini led" not "mini TV". The nodes are just smaller for higher resolution.

      • +5

I was just being a silly goose

      • Is MicroLED better than Mini LED?
Samsung TV comes with Micro LED.

        • Yes however MicroLED is not feasible for most consumers due to cost and scalability. Samsung’s 89inch MicroLED costs about USD100,000

Samsungs main TV line still consists of traditional LED, MiniLED and OLED like a majority of other TV brands

  • What about tcl u8 100"? Better than this?

  • When is TCL gonna release C855 in AU? Specs look awesome.
Lotsa new TV launching this month too

    • End of next week 2024 stock will start to arrive in store, Thursday specifically (not sure on TCL).

Thanks a lot! Been waiting for the price to drop since $1660 deal last year. I used your image to negotiate the price to $1706 + $59 delivery. With 4.5% giftcard discount, the price becomes $1685.58.

    Really happy with the price!

    • Good job A+ ozbargain award, true ozbargain effort.

  • +1

Just bought one, free delivery, noice

  • +3

    $1499 for 75"
    $1999 for 85"

    Good prices to wait for

    • I will jump on the 85” if it is $2000

  • wow, I want to move to a bigger house just to get a TV these sizes.

  • OP you superstar.
Was in market for one, with your screen shot and links, got one for $1,838.75 (pick up) with 2 years extra warranty as the wife wanted peace of mind.
    Cheers

    • How did you get 2 years extra warranty for only $43?

      • +1

Used OP's screen shot and links, let them sell me warranty without being prompted and they said 1899 all in. I asked if 1899 delivered was possible and got a yes.
In cart checkout, delivery is a different check box box and I saw a store close to me had stock so chose to collect.
I was super polite the whole time - maybe that helps? Haha

A bit too high for a TCL

  • Anyone running stremio on this TV? Does it run smoothly? Asking because the 2021 Sony 75x800 I have at home with Google TV gets choppy when playing content on stremio. Audio desyncs from the video most times.

Wondering if I need to hook it up with a nvidia shield after all.

I bought 75X10 back on 2021 through AO, they run out of TV and managed to deliver 75C825 following month,
I was very happy with 75C825 at the price of $1644, I think I had a GC $100 as well based on what I see the deal from 2021.

My C825 began to have some horizontal llines every cm, I contacted AO as warranty is 3 years, there's some huddles to overcome as TCL CS team in overseas, local australia and third party service centre Rep got miscommunication each other.

I received replace TV 75C845 yesterday, I noticed it's lighter, little more plastic over the back side (C825 had fair bit of glass finish at the back and heavy). Remote is alot more plastic feeling, no camera (C825 had camera with magnet attach to the TV). TV operate much faster, I head dual base instead of 1 in C825, so far so good.

  • +1

Mine arrived yesterday - very happy - this must be the bang for buck king of TVs right now. Not had a great deal of time to fiddle with settings but holy hell is this thing bright when it wants to be!

Colours seem good, not real issues with motion or halo effect or light bleed. Black bars look black….is it OLED black, no, but its a third or quarter of the price and a few percentage points off performance….Google seems pretty snappy and I have not bothered to plug in my apple TV… dont really see a great need to - maybe I will - not sure if I am missing anything really at the moment. Three year warranty…this is a win for sure.

  • Got an email that JB Hi-Fi would process a partial refund to my purchase. Probably $1706-$1596=$110 back to my account. (I've emailed them when the Easter sale was on)
