If you are close to c&c store
There is one in Adelaide. But do I need anymore sd cards? But good deal regardless.
just in case anybody doesn't know. don't pay the 2% amex fee when you can pay via paypal with your amex for 1.2%
Good price and probably worth it, but if they are anything like the HPe SD cards they are pretty unreliable.
Do these have a monthly subscription?
Do you have to be online for these to read/write to the card?
These are B-tier cards made by PNY and branded HP
Massive red flags:
1/ 2 year warranty versus limited lifetime on the equivalent PNY PRO Elite
2/ Deliberately drops any mention re: write performance, only that reads "Up to 100MB/s, random read up to 4000 IOPS". The PNY has "… read speeds up to 100MB/s, and write speeds up to 90MB/s"
You don't have to be a genius to work out these HP cards are using low grade NAND rejects and will become as disposable as the typical modern HP printer
The PRO Elite was already $23 a few months ago so saving a few dollars on this HP time bomb is not a wise choice
I feel dirty just reading that. Thanks for saving me the nightmare of dealing with card corruption.
HP cards are now lifetime warranty too: HP microSD card limited lifetime warranty started from AUG 1st, 2023.
Data loss and hassle of going through a warranty return, potentially to get another inferior replacement card, doesn't make it worth it imho for a $20.
Plus I need to take time out to go and pick the card up even though I'm only a 10 minute drive away from a store.
Thanks for solving my question. Was wondering what the brand actually is
V30 isn't great for 4k though is it?
V30 can do upto 8K resolution.
The grading of these cards will mean you are likely to get a corrupted card rather easily.
If you give a sh*t about what you are putting onto these cards, then don't use these…
That's pretty cheap.
