Anyone know what country to move steam to now?

Initially had Russian but then all Russian payment methods blocked..now it's in Argentina or turkey but that changed to USD prices

    Some games are crazy expensive

Check Brazilian prices. They seem pretty reasonable.

I mean if you're going to do things that way then just pirate. Much easier. I do it for all of those Epic exclusives.

      • havent pirated a game in decades - since high school
Is is still as straightforward as looking for it in the high seas?

It's usually easier - the ability of people to defeat copy protection has accelerated much faster than the ability of copy protection to get better, so Denuvo is pissweak compared to old school SecuROM. Reddit is usually the best place to find sources - look for the rPiratedGames megathread.

Flawed vs the hype it got, but then it would need to be the game of the millennium to match up with how people were raving about it.

A simple game loop that gives you the crafting and combat of minecraft with less competence on the crafting, but the combat is more satisfying. Decent mod scene and the co-op is pretty good. Running solo is also good fun.

Prepare for things to be deliberately unfair until you learn the 'trick' or out-level them, then they become utterly easy. Development after the initial release has been slow as pluck, enjoy the game as it is and expect nothing further or you'll just be disappointed. The meme is the dev team went out and bought a horse with their initial fat stacks of cash rather than get back to work.

I had an absolute blast with it, but the glacial updates mean I'm pretty much done with it until I'm an old man and 1.0 releases.

  • There is a pretty big RPG mod/map being made for this game, added value

  • I use this as a building simulator. Would buy it just for that.

Enshrouded pulled me away from Valheim for building sims

      • +1

Is the building better on Enshrouded?! Oooh I might have to hop on that.

Its fantasic. Absolutely addictive. Voxel based digging and endless building materials hidden out in the world. It'll swallow your life

@ttacx: Sold! Going to check it out now!

    Had this for years already.

  • I love this game, it was super fun when it launched. I just wish the updates weren't so far apart.

    Back to $28 for me.

  • 10/10 would put in another 200 hours, even if updates are slow (small dev team)

Amazing game, had a great time with it. Great sense of exploration and adventuring, awesome in co-op.
Will come back when the Ashlands biome finally releases.
