    What's the normal price?

    Thanks OP. got one.

cos it was posted in OzB!!

Why would you get this over a toolbox? Seems harder to stack. Although I can see it has more room for bulkier tools.

    • +9

I have a few of the 520mm one and grabbed two more.

I don't have a need to stack toolboxes, or to protect my tools with a hard shell. My tool bags live on a shelf in the garage.

I have a lot of tools that don't live in bags or boxes, but that I take places. I like the bags because they hold a lot and open up wide. And when not in use, they fold flat and are easy to store.

I often fill one with whatever collection of 18V tools I need for a task. Or chuck in camping gear etc.

Bags are good for chucking some tools in temporarily if you have to make a trip somewhere to work on something.

Or for say keeping a small assortment of tools in that you frequently take with you, eg, bike tools that you move between your car and shed. But it's personal preference really.

I wouldn't buy this unless it has a shoulder strap though as it makes it less convenient to carry around.

    • You don't need to use this for tools. I've got a load of Stanley-branded tool bags ($10 from Bunnings a few years ago) that I use to store 4WD drive stuff in my ute, vacuum cleaner attachments, cables etc.

    • Thought the same but sometimes it's hard to 'stack' all of my tools perfectly into a box without the lid jamming. Mainly down to odd shaped items and just general laziness.

    • its ryobi for diy users, dont need to over pay for ripoff stackable plastic

thanks OP, was looking for one.

Thanks OP. Got one. Good find.

There is also the 570mm one for $19.95

    • That link is not working.

      • +2

Might be location related, it works for me in Melbourne.

        I/N: 0561779

        • Interesting. It came up on the Powerpass app but not on their website.

          None available in WA unfortunately.

    • 50mm extra in length, same in other dimensions, $5 extra … emm not as good as OP

    • The base on the 570mm is soft, whereas the out of stock 520mm one is significantly more rigid, but not as rigid as the Ryobi 510mm Wide Mouth Hard Base Tool Bag. I think I'll wait for a special on the hard base bags to add to my collection.

FYI these and bags like it are great for when you have kids, one is my sons go to swimming bag/day out bag, lots of space, some extra pockets, built nice and tough without being needlessly flashy. Perfect for the job imo.

    Thanks OP :)

  • 520mm OOS already?

    • I was in-store and was considering if I should buy 1 or 2. A staff member grabbed 7 for orders and ask if I was taking the one I had, so meant I only took one.

  • Does anyone know if this would fit a Cricut maker? Or any other recommendations for a bag? Thank you

  • OOS for me

  • Order cancelled, Croydon and Preston in Vic have stock

  • +4

Can put my Makita tools in it so nobody steals them. :)

I want to grab one to bring my DeWalt 18v/Milwaukee 12v gear on site, just to see what looks I get.

    • You'd be surprised, go to cashies there's plenty of stock their that's walked off sites/from homes

  • +2

Well, so it's important to first pick a store with stock by clicking “Choose another store" when the store already chosen is out of stock. I thought this would happen automatically.

    Finally grabbed one, thanks OP

  • Got refunded as apparently OOS event though I was able to order.

    • They don't reserve the stock when you order, so if someone gets it off the shelf before they pick your order (spoiler alert, this usually happens on stuff posted on Ozbargain), you'll get refunded

  • Refunded like others, so ordered the 570mm version linked above, instead.

Will see if this one suffers the same fate…

Thanks op …….. and hello to fellow Bunnings Alexandria people!

I went to pick up my bag and she said they’ve been popular this afternoon!

I also saw a few bundles of $7 toolboxes posted yesterday.

    Cheers to Ozbargain and Bunnings!

  • Great for hand luggage 😉

Good as an RC carry bag. Internal Pockets for batteries and front for some spare parts.

  • +1

How long does a refund take? I'm still waiting even though the told me it has already gone through.

  • +2

Good little bags that open wide up like a box, but still have pockets to hold little stuff.
I use these for all sorts of reasons not related to carrying Ryobi tools…. very handy, for $15 buy a couple.

Order for delivery cancelled in Vic

  • I ordered delivery in Sydney, and it turned up today. I am guessing they ran out of the deal 520mm version so sent me the non discounted, $49.98 510mm hard base version.

Aside from being 1cm shorter, it is slightly smaller in height and width than the 520mm I already had (same as the deal) but has more pockets and a hard base. I will call that a win overall.
