I was recently trying to purchase a few gift cards from RedeemYourGiftCard, and it seems they have removed the option of bank transfer. The only way to purchase was using credit card with the 1% fee.
Given the tiny margins, the 1% fee further reduces the benefits, which have been reducing over last couple of years.
Is this others experience as well?
"Vote with your feet" and go elsewhere. The only way these companies will learn is if their revenue drops further. Removing bank deposits is a b!tch move so they should be avoided until they reinstate a free payment option. PayID and bank deposits should be freely available and if people want to use a CC, then that's on them to decide., But forcing all payments down the gauntlet of a surcharge means they can <expletive> off as far as I'm concerned.
Get a credit card which points is worth about 1% or more
