Just got an email from wiggle.co.uk, and they've got some further discounts on some running gear + shoes. Whilst there's a limited range available, and Wiggle no longer deliver Asics to Australia (booo hisss), I found this pair which are quite good:

• Nike Free Run Plus 3 Shoes FA12 are £42.00 + free delivery to Australia = ~AUD$65.10 as of today (31 October 12). Decent range of sizes left but they only come in 2 colours.

Choose GBP as the currency to avoid the bad conversion rates that they offer.

Have ordered from them before and the delivery time is about 5-8 days.

Edit: Delivery is GBP12 to Australia. Total cost delivered is approx AUD$84.

    not to mention if AUD goes down, paypal conversion rate goes down instantly, but if AUD goes up, paypal conversion rate will go up sometime in the following 2-8 hours.

    You think anywhere, PayPal included, is just doing you a favour by exchanging your money?

    What you see on the telly as the exchange rate, or in the newspaper, or on the Internet, is NEVER gonna be what you get.

    You need to stop holding a grudge about that. Besides it being buy/sell exchange rates (you know the difference?), not ANY institution is gonna give you the rate you may read/see/hear.. it just doesn't work like that.

    You think PayPal's rate is "shocking"? Don't use them then.. too easy. Get a 28 Degrees card.. and you'll have nothing to bitch about. You're an adult.. you get to make decisions for yourself now. ;)

        Have you compared the exchange rate here compared to in other countries? I know that in most of our neighbour countries the rate given is normally much, much closer to the one you see in the paper/online/telly.

    They are mens, the womens design is a bit different. Women should be able to wear them but be aware that mens shoes are usually a bit wider. Mens shoes come in D width and womens come in B width.

    As for what size to buy, first find out what AU mens size you are and then -1 to get your UK mens size. For example, an AU mens 12 would be a UK mens 11.

    I think when converting AU womens size to AU mens size you have to -2. So an AU womens size 8 would be an AU mens size 6 - Don't quote me on that value though, I'm not 100% sure about the womens to mens conversion.
