Pull the trigger, you'll love it.

Took me like a year to psyche myself up to finally play it, thinking it will be too realistic / visceral. I was right, and it's so much fun.

    • I get that part. I think I’ll get it also based on your review (and what I’ve heard generally).

Just my two cents but this game justified the whole VR concept for me. The most complete game experience I’ve had in the medium. Absolutely loved it.

        • Thanks for your input. I was going to buy it anyway but your comment added weight to that decision.

I bought my oculus primarily for fitness during lockdown. The gaming experience has been a positive side benefit. I’ve also enjoyed:

          • I expect you to die i, ii & iii (essentially similar to an escape room experience - not for everyone but I enjoyed it)

          • The thrill of the fight (fun boxing game which got me fit)

Neither of these games have exceptional graphics but they do offer an immersive experience. They can be cheap if you buy them on sale (I got them both using credit via Ozbargains referral scheme so they were essentially free).

  • I think this (non VR) was free on PlayStation back in 3 Dec 2021 ?

    • This game and its sequel are VR only.

  • Amazing game and experience in VR. I just wish the quest 2 had better blacks to really take it to another level. Quest 1 was so much better in this regard.

Sold quest 2 while second-hand prices were sky high in anticipation for quest 3 but did jump back but may at some stage or wait for quest 4 down the track.

  • Is it no longer crossbuy with Rift/PC? Im not seeing Rift on the list anymore
