LEGO Availability on Amazon Australia

While Amazon offers a decent selection of LEGO items, I’ve noticed that they seem to be lacking in stocking newly released sets.

I’m curious if others have noticed this too?

I presume there are existing contracts with older retailers, that allows them to get first dibs (as Amazon AU came onto the scene much later).

I noticed I could only buy my latest purchase from 3rd party suppliers so didn't buy from there.
