I have seen many reviews for Halo 4 and It looks like a great game to me!! So has Black ops 2. Just wondering what your opinions are and where I should buy them from?

Personally I find both series to be repetitive and uninspired. I look for games that do something new and different. If you haven't played all the previous Halo/CoD games, maybe just buy them cheap?
I love Halo - it was the only reason I bought an Xbox 360 (I usually game on my PC). I haven't played any CoD games specifically, but IMO those types of modern shooters all follow the same bland formula (once I played one, I'd virtually played them all) in terms of single player, at least. Not that this is an inherently bad thing - it's just that there's only so many ways you can kill Germans, Russians, or the near ubiquitous (and somewhat stereotypical) Middle Eastern terrorists before it gets old.
On the other hand, Halo 4 won't mean much if you haven't played the original trilogy. Granted, it looks like an amazing game by itself, but you will be pretty nonplussed when it comes to the storyline. If you're looking for a great story, then I would recommend the original Halo trilogy + Halo 4.
shrug I've preordered Halo, and immensely look forward to playing it.IMO, if you're looking for flashy graphics and a modern shooter, then by all means, Black Ops 2 is your game. But if you're looking for flashy graphics and great story and expansive universe, then go for Halo 4 (with the caveat that it won't be as great with no previous experience)
As for where to buy them from, there've been a number of deals on Halo 4 within the last week (not sure if they're still running), so you'll just have to do a quick search.
Look at this and tell me you dont want halo - also $10 cheaper at JB Hifi
