PSA to inform everyone that they now charge a $25 fitting, balance and disposal fee on the "free" tyre, making it not free anymore and adding to your costs. No other stores charge this unnecessary extra cost.

Not sure people would trust a business named after Beau at the moment anyway. Corona beer sales went down during the pandemic according to Facebook posts, although the beer company itself denies they saw any changes to their sales. Bet there won't be many babies named Beau or Beaumont in the years ahead anyway.
Beaumont tiles?
Thanks for the info. I missed this news.
So what happens to the 4 year warranty on tyres if they're no longer around? Worth as much as their business it seems
ACCC’s response:
Let's make a 10-15 minute survey.
More like 'we'll get back to you in 7-10 business years'
How long are business years compared to dog years?
1 year = 5 calendar years, leap years don’t count.
Hmm tyroola is better and cheaper As long as you manage to find a good fitting partner there
Plus don't forget extra cashback too
costco charge this fee too on the "free" tyre
I guess the tyre is still free, you can fit it yourself
Did you want them to fit it, and dispose of the old tire? I'm sure you wouldn't be charged if you are just buying the tire.
Make a complaint to the TV advertising place that looks after dodgy adds.
I thought this was common for most buy three get one free tyre deals:
Sounds like you need to purchase a tyre fitting and balance machine.
I think I’ve said it before but I’ve been boycotting Bob Jane ever since one of their employees called me a lying profanity because they couldn’t match a price. When I told them which store was offering that price they played the victim card and claimed that store did grey imports and was going to ruin the the tyre industry by undercutting everyone.
Also note that they never do the advertised price beat 10% of difference, only a match if you're lucky.
Did you call them out? 10% of difference could not be significant.
They don't like to match Tempe tyre for sure, not only them, many does as well.
Just dump a bunch of lighter fluid on your rim and light a match, put your knowledge of physics to work!
Well, Beaurepairs have just gone down so someone's rubbing their hands.
