$60 Tickets to Cirque Du Soleil OVO in Sydney. Save up to $44

550

OVO by Cirque du Soleil is now playing under the blue-and-yellow Big Top. This is a spectacular production for the whole family. OVO, meaning egg in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colourful eco-system teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.

The cast of OVO is comprised of 54 performing artists from 16 countries specializing in many jaw-dropping acrobatic acts. The show contains all the ingredients we have come to expect from Cirque du Soleil including stunning costumes, humour and infectious live music. The Courier Mail recently said, "If I ever see Cirque du Soleil and lose the child-like amazement that keeps me going back, please check my pulse for this does offer something truly unique and wonderful."

is the site down for anyone else? or just me?

    • Hi there - we're experiencing very high traffic due to the popularity of this offer. Please keep trying and we'll be back up and running shortly.

    • Its not down, its just slow cause most likely a lot of people are currently on the website. Overloaded!!!

        The technical term is "OzBargained".

any chance to get a similar deal for Adelaide ?

  • Saw this last Saturday and it is amazing!! Funny and exciting too.

  • Do you guys handle cheap cirque du soleil tickets in perth?

It's a PITA that the ticketsellers are sometimes different in WA than they are in other states. WA discounters are often lazy and dont bother to discount, even when they are struggling to sell tickets.

  • Just picked up 2 tickets! Awesome deal, been waiting for this for a while.
Level 2 tickets are still numerous, clicking on the levels gives you a random assortment of seat allocations (I had random pairs displayed as I cycled from left side to right).
Couldn't get closer than the 3rd row front.
For those who have already watched it from Level 2 any area of the level not to pick due to 'blockage'?

    • the tent columns are 45 degrees from stage front so i would avoid that.

this is a great deal, i took myself and the missus out to this when they had tickets for $69 at brisbane. it isnt an issue if you're near the back of the seating arrangement because the seating is very intimate and close to the stage. have more priority on getting centre of stage because alot of their acts are aimed there and the experience would be better. still nothing wrong with the side seats but just saying if you're near the back and close to centre it is better than being closer and on the side. Also the seats are very very small… there is no room between you and the person next to you so take a friend you are ok to be close against lol.

  • Great deal.
I had been waiting for an excuse to go and see this.

  • Thanks OP, just bagged myself a couple :)

  • Saw it on 2nd October. Took my folks who had never seen anything so spectacular before. Great show. They loved it. I paid $115 for our seats, 4th row from the front, to the right of the stage.

  • do they have it for Melbourne next year? never been to a circus show before in my life

    • They generally wouldn't discount upfront. Tickets get discounted if they can't sell them at full price. If you patiently wait, something may come up towards the end of the season and more than likely weekdays. IMO $60 is a much better price point for CDS anyway. I'd never pay $100+ for it.

  • Quite a few of the acts in Ovo are overhead, on trapeze etc. I sat in the front row and enjoyed the experience, but for a more complete experience, I think maybe five or so rows back from the stage would be the pick. As straight on the the centre of the centre of the stage helps too.

  • Thanks. Was waiting for this.

  • Great entertainment

  • Thanks muchly - grabbed a couple for myself and husband… Now to find a baby sitter.. LOL..

    Great deal.
If you sit in the front, it's super amazing! worth the money really.

Whats the date for the Sydney show?

  • click and you shall find

    • +1

From my reading you need to register, the link doesn't give a date. Some of us don't want to go though that process if the dates won't be any good.

Anybody want to provide a helpful answer to Benmc's question?

      • Dates are as follows:

        Weds 7th Nov
        Thur 8th Nov
        Fri 9th Nov
        Weds 14th Nov
        Thurs 15th Nov
        Fri 16th Nov
        Weds 21st Nov
        Thurs 22nd Nov
        Fri 23rd Nov

        • Could you please answer if lasttix is the discount ticket handler for cirque du soleil in WA?

  • Great show, saw it last Friday and pleasantly surprised! Ideal for both couples and families~

  • I grabbed some tickets for myself and some family. None of the tickets available are in front – they're all in the second tier and to the sides or behind the stage

  • Anyone seen this from level 2? I was wondering if it's better to just pay the full $175 for the ones in the front middle. Thanks.

    • I paid for those tix, I can tell you you're better off saving your money as it's a very cosy tent and you'll see everything from the cheaper seats.

  • Ok thanks CLoSer. That helps.

  • BTW, for those who are after the cheap tickets, I just checked a few dates for seats and you can only get for a single person in the green section (worth $104). If you have 2 ppl or more, you need to buy the yellow section which usually only costs $84. Not really a good deal anymore.

    • $24 off is still better than not having $24 off innit?

    • I can't even see those available.

the only thing I see is single seats in the green zones

edit: my bad, i selected 1 hence why it was showing single spots.

Been ignored by rep twice. And it's an easy question.

    Poor representation - negged.

    • relax mate, a quick search of Lasttix website says yes, they post for WA as well..

      • -2

It varies between shows, yes they have WA deals, no that does not mean they necessarily handle cirque du soleil here.

Like I said, WA is often handled differently to other states.

        • -1

Just be patience and wait like every other city has.. it is very easy to do.

        • You just dont get it. I'm asking because I want to know if there is any POINT in waiting and watching lasttix. Because if they aren't handling cirque in WA, then the answer imho is no!

  • bought 4, dont like paying convenience fees though $25..

  • Great deal. I would be going if I hadn't seen it in LA for only $40 :)

  • I haven't been to a circus for nearly two decades, standards must have really fallen in that time. The trapeze artists fell off three times into the net. What a poor apology for a performance!
