Yeah I was going to say.. low sales fee ain't getting you the best result.
I would personally say you should find the real estate agency with the best presence in the market.. then pick the person within that agency you like the most.
Because when other people go through similar properties they will get referred to your property - increasing the viewings, increasing demand, driving the price up.
I went through this recently and got over 10% more for the property vs. what I was happy to get - a large chunk of people coming through were referred from other properties.
Don’t know what his fees are like these days but Bryan Hansen from eview is the best real estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. He is actually an honest guy to work with and not someone who will try to pull the wool over your eyes.
Go look at some sold listings and see which real estate agents are getting good prices.
Couple of thousand dollars in fees won't really matter when a better agent can get you much more than that with a higher price.
My tip is to go to a few open houses, pretend to be a buyer, and see what the agents are like to buyers. Then choose the one who treats you the best as a buyer. The ones who treat buyers like shit won't be getting you a good price.
