Using Yesterday's Coles Mastercard Digital Gift Cards for eBay/Google Play

Hey guys, scored some of those coles gift cards yesterday, and trying to find the best way to use them to maximise them (i.e. getting cashback etc). Primarily looking to use at eBay, but also thought to may as well pay off a year of Google One storage. I missed the deal to convert to those other gift cards with no fees…

So far:
-cashrewards - didn't work at all
-www.giftcardexchange.com.au, which is a pity considering there are bonus reward points currently on
-shopback - super swap, which mysteriously wasn't working yesterday when the rate was boosted to 3% (now 1.75%), doesnt appear to actually let you swap for google play, even though its on the list. Regular Swap is 2.5% atm…

Any suggestions on how to get a better saviing pls?

  shopback worked for me yesterday - I was able to swap it for $100 ubereats when it was 8% off (missed out on the 10% since it was before the Coles GC deal)

    hey what does this mean? Like what can you use ShopBack to buy? do you get extra discounted codes with ShopBack?

      You buy giftcards on shopback app and get x% cashback back to your shopback account.

      They have quite a lot of giftcards available from ebay, to amazon to uber eats.

        Thanks! have a referral code? We both can get $30 right? ps looking for apple jb hi fi , Officeworks so hoping they have some sort of discount on those cards? Can't see discounts without signing up and don't want to sign up without a discount code

          The current shopback referral offer is:

          $30 for referrer, $10 for referee after referee qualifies.

          I did a search for what is available in shopback gift cards

          Apple - Comes up with Shopback SuperSwap - which lets you swap to other giftcards after you buy it. However, I've never used this card for apple so I cannot guarantee that you can swap to Apple GC.

          JB hifi - 2.5% from $5 to $350, 3% cashback $400+

          Officeworks - 2% cashback

          You can also use this link to see where to get each gift card with highest discount. It will have usual rates but sometimes places have increased discount/cashback.

              In the spirit of ozb, just because it is discounted in shopback doesn't mean it is the best discount available, always good to compare.

  Thanks guys for the comments, I made a mistake in the listing - I know you can use on shopback, just wondering if there any better options for eBay and Google play.

  I was able to use it to buy woolworths gift card via NRMA - the portal looks the same and they also sell google play

  https://giftcards.woolworths.com.au/google-play-/p/google_pl… (there is no additional discount, so it will be just converting the 7.5% from coles to google play, or wait for Everyday Rewards bonus)

  Otherwise maybe wait and see if it will work on prezzee? They usually have $10 gift card when purchasing $150.

  eGift Card Wiki lists google play as 5% from Ent. Book/ Frequent Values so that is worth looking at too.

    Thanks for all that. Yeah, ideally looking to get another discount lol. I saw Ent Book, but don't have a current subscription haiyaaa (oh. and Google Play didn't come up when I searched for it lol.
