eBay no more from 31 March (they don't say the year, assume 2024). Make sure you swap prior.

      Good catch.

I do wonder what's going on with eBay, they have been gone from the SB and CR GC stores for a few months now too. Other places also sell the Swap Celebration GC (including physical cards instore), I wonder if eBay are also being removed from them.

So if you get a call from India thinking it's a scammer, it may actually be your bank.

So if you get a call from India thinking it's a scammer, it may actually be your bank.

I don't remember the last time my bank actually called me. EVER!
If they did, I would simply hang up, call them myself.

No Westpac tends to call a lot to offer deals on personal loans and life insurance. Not their pure banking division, but from one of the divisions of the group nonetheless.
And because the phone number is legit, there's no way you wouldn't answer in case it's important.

I run a company, send money overseas, have multiple accounts from personal to company to trust accounts. Just because you aren't important enough and want to neg my comment, doesn't mean other people don't get calls as Fuzor pointed out.

        • want to neg my comment

          Provide proof.

have multiple accounts from personal to company to trust accounts

As do I. What's your point?

doesn't mean other people don't get calls as Fuzor pointed out.

Unless you are expecting a call, the wise thing to do is hang up, and call the bank yourself.
If it was a legit call you will certainly find out when you call back in.

And because the phone number is legit

Caller ID can be easily spoofed.
