When Are The Best TV Clearance Sales?

Boxing Day?
Black Friday?
Now?
March/April when supposedly the new models are released?

Seems LG had a clearance recently, then it went, then it was back again at JB, then it went, now there's a 2 day sale on all tv's at Good Guys (probably JB too).

We're in the market for a 65" or 77" OLED (probably the LG G3, unless you have better suggestions), and just aren't sure when the best time to go and get one for the best price is.

Currently with a 20 year old Samsung 55" Plasma. Still great, but OLED will be bigger and better (I guess).

  when you really need it…. doesnt matter when you buy, 3 months later it will be cheaper…..

    The best price is usually when the models change in March/April as OP mentions, although stock might be low. It won't get cheaper because it won't be sold any more.

      Ex JB Visual sales, can confirm this is the best time to pickup a bargain since they're EOL just depends how much stock is sitting around the stores and at LG to clear.

      Black friday is the best time to pick up the new models with a decent discount

  If you want to spend G3 money I would recommend the A95K instead.

  But if you want value for money, I’d recommend something like a 2nd hand 65” C1 (or similar) for 1-1.5k or a 77” for 2.1-2.7k
