This will keep happening (faster and faster) as long as people keep using VPNs to take advantage of regional pricing. Companies have a few options; ban people that they suspect are using VPNs (not fair for people who actually use a VPN for valid reasons), increase the pricing in these regions, or just remove regional pricing altogether. If you are using a VPN, you are basically screwing over all the people that want to use the service in that country.

My 12 months subscription paid through Google Play was expired and I can't purchase another 12 months subscription. I got this error message
Couldn't complete your purchase. Check that you have the correct country selected in your Play account.
I use the same profile as I did last year. Any tips? Thanks.
Same issue using same account and one that works with turkey disney+. I played around with a few VPNs, turning off and on at various stages, 1month/12month plans all with no success
I think spotify/google play may have closed the loophole.
What did work was buying a 12month premium india sub from G2A, code is available instantly. Cost $29US, i'm sure there are cheaper sites but couldnt be bothered after the ordeal in retrying steps above.
- Turn on India VPN
- Sign into spotify account and set location to india
- Goto spotify redeem and use code
- Turn off vpn and use
