What Is The Cheapest Prepaid Mobile Plan for 365 Days on The Telstra Network

Hi all,

My Lebara plan is expiring in a couple of days and after going on another camping trip with spotty connection throughout, I have decided I would like to switch to a provider on the Telstra network, which seems to be a lot more reliable. Looking around, it seems like Woolworths is offering the cheapest Prepaid plan on Telstra, at $170 for 125GB. However, I figured I should also ask here to see if people have discovered any better deals.

Thanks in advance!

  • I use woolworths, now as esim combining with the boost mobile sims every now and then, don't forget you get access to 10% off in store once a month with the woolies, up to 50$ per time, my sim is basically free thanks to a few shops a year especially now that woolies are gouging prices so hard on everything..

How much data do you need?

ALDImobile has this 1 year super pack for $119 that has only 60GB + unlimited calls/text. I can't see this on their plan page but it's there under the Recharge page for existing customers.

Only Telstra and Boost have full Telstra coverage.
Woolies and many others sell a product called Telstra Wholesale, the Telstra Wholesale coverage area is geographically restricted to roughly match that of the Optus coverage area.
The difference in land area covered is around double, so depending on where you travel, check the coverage maps first.

  • AldiMobile uses Telstra network.

Cheap as chips if not calling/data out.

      • Telstra Wholesale

If unshaped 5G is important to you I'd check if it includes that. Even Telstra's cheapest postpaid plan doesn't include it. Although Telstra's plans have no excess charges these days and you pay for the month ahead, so they aren't even really "postpaid" anymore, and they don't have fixed contract terms so they aren't even really contract plans either, it's all month to month now unless you buy a plan through JB Hifi or something.

It's actually cheaper than that as you also get 10% off you're entire shop at Woolworths each month… Ends up being free or better for most people…

    • Most people shop at Woolworths?¿

Most people that shop at Woolies and use Everyday Mobile get it free or make a profit.

        • I stick to coles generally a lot lot more savings there for me personally.

          • @USER DC: Not if you want low carb bars this week.

            • @jv: for that i thing you best to order in bulk from amazon

everything is ofc cheaper at only specific places, for F&V, milk, salads, meats coles in unbeatable IMO (just need to score end of day stuff).

other pantry stuff is probably better of at amazon, or other retailers

actually why not buy from chemist warehouse (if they sell it) ask them to price beat coles (they will)

Only because they are price matching on some lines…

But it won't be cheaper if you want individual bars…
