Pros are sole comfort and lighter than RMs. More for dressy than RMs which can be worn almost anywhere in the field and option to be remade.
I have a pair. Super comfy.
Can't really comment on longevity as I've only worn a handful of times.
I paid close to $200 from memory(needed them in a hurry).

How's the sizing for these? I'm usually a US 9 or 9.5 in sneakers and running shoes depending on the brand.
I've read that a lot of people go 0.5 or even 1 size down.
I have one of these and they were true to the size i.e. US 11. I have picked up another one today. Very good price.
I ordered some based on this deal and the sizing is that they run very small, or at least narrow. Ordered according to their size chart (US 10.5 to line up with my Florsheim 44s) and can barely get these on, so back to Amazon they go. Also stupidly narrow despite claiming to be extra wide.

Agreed. My feet were swimming in these shoes at my regular size and even when I went down a size I had to return them as it was still too loose.
2 sizes down? so if I am US9.5 then I need US7.5? I have never bought any shoes at 7.5..
Maybe buy 2 pairs with different size and return one that doesn't fit
This is crazy and wrong. I am usually a US 10.5 or 11. I ordered 10.5 and I can barely get these on my feet (and 'extra wide' my *****). Two sizes down would be ludicrously small.
A bit late but yea Hush Puppies sizing chart (if you look at their Australia Website) is way off compared to others. If you measure your foot in cm you’ll find their sizing to be too big. I’m US10/AU9 but according to Hush Puppies sizing charts I’ll be at US8.5 maybe even US8. I had to return mines and deal expired so couldn’t get another pair but rather hesitant on the sizing now.

I've got a few pairs of these in different colours, they're super comfortable, but I notice they're squeaky when walking around in a quiet office, which is a bit off putting!
So not very hush puppies?

Yes I noticed that too. But they are comfortable and I kept them in my office as office wear. RMs look nicer but I cant fit them due to their narrow shape.

Serious question. Got a few pairs of those from the ol' deal and they've been going ok with an added insole.
These are much better than the Rivers chelsea boots (have had a couple pairs of them in the past, they wear out super quickly, unsurprising given the price I guess).
I also recently bought a pair of Target brand chelsea boots which have been surprisingly good but probably closer to Rivers quality/comfort than Hush Puppies.

I think so. Usually $130-150 or so at Myers when on special.
I use RM and Target and the latter requires insoles which brings their price up to these - and these are better.
I bought these for $86 in Aug 2021. I still haven't worn them, perhaps I can sell them thru the classifieds

I have both J Marlo (Tan) and These one(brown). For some reason I find J Marlo to be more comfortable than these.

Got a similar black pair, slightly more formal but same sole. Quality is better than any of the Julius Marlow stuff I've had.
Leather is soft but high quality.
Sole is genuinely comfy, was comfy right when I put it on in the store.
I'm a US14 and found them true to size.
Very tempting.
