Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB GDDR6X OC Edition GPU $1099 Delivered + Surcharge @ Centre Com

460

It seems to be the end life period of 4070 Ti, since even first tier manufacturers as ASUS puts TUF into $1K range.

I understand there are lots of 4070 Ti cards around this range, but this is first time ASUS is so close to the target.

    That's a no from me.

These really need to go sub-$1k to be considered a deal, I think.

Agreed. Honestly games don't really so much power anyway unless you're going 4k over 60fps

I've had my MSI one for a year got it for $1100 less $60 for the Diablo 4 code through CA ebay deals, So I totally agree !!

4070 super is around 900-950 now, what is the point of ti? Same 12gb ram

    • +4

ASUS 4070 super products have not fallen into 900-950, let alone 4070 Ti. Actually TUF 4070 Ti is same price as TUF 4070 super so it is still reasonable price for a good quality product.

      Ti is faster
More cuda cores and a second encoder

Got mine for $1399 last year 2 months after release. I would be happy paying $1099, it's a decent card. I would love a RTX4080 but can't justify the $1800 price tag

    • -1

      I'd also love a 4090 ti

Kinda sad that $1100 only gets you a 'decent' card nowdays…

Most games graphics aren't really demanding anymore, at least not the fun games lol

        • Does one have to go to a pub to find a fun non demanding game?

  • This one at umart also $1099.

  • this or the Nitro+ 7800xt?

    • +1

I am between this and ASUS TUF RX 7800 XT OC, just cannot quite justify the $230 difference considering my usage…

      • +3

yeah i am finding it hard to justify an extra 250 for this. The 7800xt has 4gb more vram, faster bus but less cuda cores and lower base clock.

    • 4070ti is rougly 15% faster than the 7800xt. It's up to you If AI/DLSS and raytracing are worth the $240ish price increase.

    • Ti Super definitely a better option with 16gb Vram, Was looking at this one which was $1349 last weekend, above my budget for a gpu

      • +4

No way is it worth an extra $300 over this. The super's vram only currently matters at 4k but the problem is, it's a very average 4k card, at least from all the reports Ive seen. I'd be happy with the TI, assuming you can get a decent version like the TUF at the same or cheaper price than the 4070 super, and put that 300 towards your next card which should be 4090 equivalent performance.

      • +1

Unfortunately I didn't have much options with my new tight space white build. I stretched my budget as well was only looking at 1000 under cards.
This one is the only one comes close to US retail price

        • Your card is awesome, and personally I think it's always worth paying a bit more to make a build look good - it only makes sense when so much is spent on building it anyway. My point was only if a buyer is considering either card right now, the $250 cheaper 4070S or TI would do. If they could stretch their budget to your card or if the gap wasn't as big at the time of buying, I'd get your card every time.

    • $300 (30%) more for like 5% performance

  • i yep I thought i saw these once for a grand the 4070 TI others were sayign that was the super.

  • 12GB is only good for gaming. You cannot use it for stable diffusion image generation when there are more specific instructions. Not much value in AI usage.

    • What specifics are you running into issues with on stable diffusion?

      I’ve got a 4070 and haven’t had a problem.

    • I ran sd1.5 both training and inference on a 3070. The only real issue was using the upscalers, which are still an issue on my 4090.

      • Yeah cool. I run sdxl and it’s fine for the most part.

Training I do on a 16gb card though

    • i think is is a much more better deal, thank you!
