I got an email from OVO Energy via the WATTEVER reg "The EV Plan – NSW"

What do you guys think of this plan vs what I got below?

Currently with Power Shop on Fixed Tariff as per below:

Supply Charge: $1.0346
Per KWH: $0.3695/kWh
FIT: $0.1200

I got an EV & 10 KW Solar with very minimal electricity bill over the past 3 years like under $30 per month inc the daily supply charge as Feed In Tariff takes care of it & our house is a new build with lots of investment gone in to lighting controls for automation to reduce electricity bill & house hold been trained to be energy efficient "No we don't sit under a candle"

    I think you need to get out a spreadsheet, look at what time you use your power, how much you export and figure out if you would save money or not. We can't do that for you.

    How do those figures compare to your current plan and who are you with ? I'm on Origin Energy in NSW:
    Supply Charge: $0.979
    Per KWH: $0.37554/kWh
    FIT: $0.1400 (one year into a 2 year offer for that FIT)

    really good. i charge my EV between 11-2pm everyday when it is free, run dishwasher, aircon etc etc during those times but i do hv a smaller set-up of solar at 6.6kw. Can share refer link and that gets you $120 credit i believe.

      I choose my monthly amount which aligns to my expected bill and some +/- gets adjusted at the end.
