    Dont get the Kegland DIY Budget Soda Water Kit! Its just annoying to use and gives inconsistent results!

    Reverted back to SodaStream machine with the 72 inch FreedomOne Sodastream Adapter Hose - (1.8m) kit.

        steer away from https://www.kegland.com.au/products/diy-budget-soda-water-ki… . Even though it uses standard spent bottles such as woolies/coles soda water. Its not very efficient at carbonating using this kit. You'll need to like cool the water first then shake the bottle while carbonating! I havent been able to get the level of carbonation that I like (which is pretty strong fizz).

        So the other option is to get https://www.kegland.com.au/products/freedomone-sodastream-ad… plus the 2.6kg CO2 bottle and connect the kit to your existing SodaStream Machine. btw I bought the kit back in 2018 for $48.

  Looking to upgrade from an older SodaKing model but all the SodaStream models seem to have these new 'quick connect' gas bottles - am I right in thinking I can't use the old screw-in gas bottles with these?

  How about the water bottles, are they compatible?

    The syrup bottles go on special for $3.50 pretty regularly, and they make 9 litres of mix. This should pay for itself pretty quickly considering how much of it I drink. Mostly though, I'm just sick of stocking up empty cans and bottles until I've got enough to cash in.

  Will this be compatible with old machine s bottle (understand co2 cylinder fits are different). Also any benefit except snap on fit for the newer cylinder? Thanks
