Recently bought a prebuild as per Techfast :(RTX 3060 + i5 12400F).
Just wondering if anyone knows the details of this mobo (KOLOE H610M4-PLUS), I can't find any details of it online.
Does not seem to fit a m.2 ssd (maybe SATA III?)
Cheers

Thanks for quick response please find board photo below
The 500GB boot drive provided with the build is not in the photo and I cannot seem to find where it is plugged in.
I tried to swap a drive from a previous build into the assumably m.2 slot below the cpu cooler however it does not fit (the notching is off)
A photo of the board or screenshot from HWInfo would be useful.

What do you mean? Have you tried this already?
Thanks for the quick response;
Please find board photo and sysinfo photo links below
AS per the board photo, there is a slot that looks like it fits an m.2 ssd however I have tried to swap out a previous build's drive and it did not fit (notching was off)
Yeah that looks like it - just above your GPU… but it might only have space for a 2230 or 2242 drive which would be more expensive.
I'd just go a SATA III SSD, there's 4x of those under your ketchup&mustard power cable plug there.
Could be interesting to see what is currently installed - Sysinfo > Storage > Disks
Output should look something like this:
Description: Disk drive
Manufacturer: (Standard disk drives)
Model: ADATA SX8200PNP
Appears to be a Cruical P3 500GB m.2 nvme 2280 ssd as per search -
please find sysinfo below
still confused as to where it is plugged in? there is no evidence of a drive plugged in on the front of mobo
@EmEnEm: Interesting board!
I'm guessing there's a slot on the back of the board. Hard to tell exactly in your photo, but could also be under the GPU but guessing the PCIe slot is at the bottom of the board.
You may be able to see it if you take the other side of the case off, otherwise it would require mobo removal.
Build specs on that desktop includes 500GB NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive, so, sounds like it does include M2 SSD. Doesn't seem to be anything online like a manual for this brand, but did find a "MadeInCHina.com" site listing it ; so probs a super-cheap mobo. If Techfast are not using name-brand motherboards, that definitely puts me off a purchase I was considering (and explains why their stuff is so darn cheap).
looks like this? https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/Sdd68be421a6a45b196fc513ea1d6e43f…
m.2 card is under graphics card?
yes I think that is the one thankyou very much
I must not be able to see the installed m.2 drive as its under the gpu
Wait… Techfast uses no-name, ail-express grade motherboards in their deals?
I'd always assumed they were at least picking from a pool of brand name components.
Surprises me also. I know their deals are crazy cheap but using yumcha mainboards seems like a recipe for disaster.
Good to know as I've been keeping an eye on deals for a cheap gaming PC for my son. Will avoid any deals that don't state board brand.
Shenzhen Koloe Motherboard Factory
Chinese motherboard brand
Get HWINFO64 and use it to find what the motherboard is as OP cannot take a photo of the motherboard.
They are asus mobos.
Where did you find that info?
Not doubting you, there just seems to be little to no info online.
The mobo has already been identified -
I clicked the link thinking someone found a manual or listing……then to find it was my own comment :/
can anyone else share what motherboard you got from techfast?
Update- I have got my 3070 PC, MB is KOLOE H610M4-PLUS as well…
What's the best (or best value) CPU you would put in one of these?
Will it fit this SSD? https://www.amazon.com.au/CORSAIR-MP600-Mini-PCIe-Gen4/dp/B0…
Have you got a link to the original Techfast deal / website link?
Did you get any manuals with it? Check for the motherboard manual?
Failing all that, take a picture of the board and I can take a look at it and tell you what it has / doesn't have.
I'm surprised it wouldn't have at least one M.2 slot - do you know what you're looking for? It's usually above the PCI-E slot but might be located somewhere else, it'll look something like this
