Hi all - I have my eyes set on a Breville Dual Boiler and am waiting for it to go on sale (sub $1000 at least). Does anyone have any idea how often they go on sale? Thanks for the advice!

I been seeing a few Breville machines going for cheap on 2nd hand markets
I bought one myself. The only thing I would say is to clarify the model. Mine was a BES900 and not a BES920. Both are called BDB but BES900 is much older and doesn't do auto shots by volume (only time). I didn't know to check but it was cheap enough to still be okay and does not impact my workflow.

I contacted JB who matched it for 1035 which was within my budget. Just purchased then and I'm going to pair it with the varia vs3 version 2 grinder. Maybe call the number and try your luck again?

Ahh remember the pre covid deals for these?? Wish I'd grabbed one around the $700 mark or so.. I'm still using a bes900 but if a 920 pops up near that sort of price again I think it's probably time to retire the 900 to the spare parts bin
