For anybody not played any of these in the series….this a good place to start?

Apparently they're all sequels to each other.

That being said I've played some in co-op and some solo. I don't recall any of the story but they're all pretty fun.

I think V2 is regarded as one of the best with this one coming in close second. 5 is also good but plays it safe.

I reckon you can't go wrong trying this out for $6

      • which one is the one for VR?

        • +1

That one is just "Sniper Elite VR"

Haven't tried it myself but apparently isn't the best

i skipped all the story cinematics of the old ones anyway, pretty much was in it just for doing the cool trick shots and shooting people in the nuts with mortal kombat style x-ray death scenes .

They are just set in different locations with improved gfx each release. You can play any of them independently of the others.

I’ve played all 5. IMO 4 and 5 are the best as the first 3 feel a bit more on rails whereas 4 and 5 are more open.

  • Thanks OP, played V2 and enjoyed it.

Still waiting for the mod that replaces all Nazi heads by Dutton.

    • -2

Yes, because everyone you don’t like is a bonafide Nazi.

      Dutton for PM

  • What great fun games, would love to see a modern day version

Have you checked out the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series?

      • No I haven’t, any good?

        • Similar in premise, but set in modern day. Around a 6-7/10 for me, but definitely with if you can get it for $10 or so

        • Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is bloody brilliant. Can't wait for the next one.

          • @khrome: Thanks, might give it a crack, just noticed though only 1 player, that’s disappointing

            • @BatmanAU: Not for me. Not into multi-player at all so not an issue but yes could be for some.

Time for some slow motion gore.

Thanks OP, this is indeed a bargain.

  • Sorry if I am missing something but is it meant to be the same price on Steam?

    • +3

You buy from fanatical that gives you a code to redeem on steam…

      • Thank you

  • Maybe we need Nazis after all

    • Only to serve its current purpose to distract the masses so we can all point and say there's the bad guy.

ordered thanks OP. I bought GTA when it was sale over Xmas.

It was too much like a full time job, reporting to several bosses, managing a relationship with some babe, driving around, etc. It was hard work. I gave up on it.

Hopefully this one is just good old shoot em up…

  • This so the one game I come back to again and again on switch. Bullet time never gets old

5% Off your next order The coupon will be emailed to you when you purchase this product. Exclusions apply.

      • Thanks for clarifying. I didn't read properly. Now feeling better, even though it's only 31 cents, but missing out on a further discount is never a good feeling. :D
