Hi, our pool lights (2) needs replacing, ATOM EMF.
They cost $375 each what are my options? Do I have to replace them with the same brand or they still work on and off, flickering away so it is currently like a rave party in the pool ha ha ha….

If you’re so bright why do you need any pool lights at all?
There are no better options, you either change it or don't.
Just don't get knock offs from eBay.
Do you have to drain the pool to change the lights?
pretty sure the answer is yes unless the installer had 69,420 IQ and has left a super long cable in the recess for specifically this application.

Havent used our in-pool lights for years. If i suddenly wanted to some, id chuck in a couple of solar powered floaty ones.

What type are your existing ones ? My pool had really old 32 V halogen ones that hadn't even worked for the previous owner. I bought a LED variable input voltage one off eBay just to test the brightness (wattage) and mounting. The new mounting had multiple holes which matched up with the existing screw holes in the wall. I just had to hang over the side of the pool, arms in the water, and try not to drop the screws into the water.
My other concern/interest was the waterproof rating of the cable connector. I ensured I cut the existing cable back to clean copper and cleaned the insulation so that the compression fitting would tighten and seal. I have seen some of the expensive pool shop ones come with an epoxy type filler to help waterproof.
I don't use the lights often , but they are still working after more than a year.
Our pool light died, and was replaced with an led light during a pool reno. It was connected to the same old 12v transformer. I've got the transformer plugged into a smart 240v switch so I can control it (on/off, timer) from my phone. The lights are probably a generic fit, but a pool shop could advise. If I was buying, I'd get one you could change the colour, I'm sick of blue
