Damaged Xiaomi 34" Curved Monitor LCD - Can It Be Repaired? (Brisbane)

I recently moved house and in the process (on the final trip!) my Xiaomi LCD screen was damaged from an item slipping and putting pressure onto it.
The front pane (glass?plastic?) is fine, no cracks, just the LCD bleeding.

I've done a bit of Googling and tried asking Xiaomi if they have a repairer but got nowhere.

So my questions for the brains trust are:
Does anyone know if it's possible to have this repaired?
If yes, is it worth it (cost)?
If yes, are there any repairers in the Brisbane/Logan area?

Thanks for sharing your wisdom. :)

You should have kept the box it came in. People laugh at me for having so many boxes, but my monitors don't break when I move them.

    It's dead, buy a new one :/

It needs a complete panel replacement, the labour and panel costs will be higher than initial purchase price …

You will need a new LCD panel. They cost as much, if not more, than the entire monitor itself.

    It's basically e-waste now.

Time to get something with better colour reproduction and far less light bleed.

You need a new panel.. cost as much as a new one

    • Panel + service charge to repair it > price of a new one.

Yea better off buying a new

Thanks all for the input. What a waste!

    • Are the responses a waste, or were you referring to your damaged monitor being a waste?
