Have a few from around 2021/22, before the prices were jacked. They are okay, but tbh no better than the current $8 range from Kmart.

    • I guess that means they are 10c better?

Come on bruh, anything i bought from uniqlo is heaps better than kmart stuff.

    • I've been getting heaps of good stuff on clearance from kmart. I don't advertise company slogans on my clothing any longer.

    • Fit on the last KMart $8 tee I bought (literally 3 days ago, emergency purchase) was awful. Seemed to be no reinforced stitching anywhere, the thing was shapeless.

Supima and ASColour are still the only <$25 tees I've found that can be tucked, washed, untucked, beaten up, jacketed without the collar pulling down into cleavage territory, or the hem disintegrating into a badly draped dress.

Maybe I got a bad batch.

I think these could be thinner than the Cashrewards t-shirts from a few years back…

I hate how their click-and-collect works.

You basically have to wait till they ship it from their warehouse to their stores.
Could take a week or two

    • Depends on if the item is instock at the store where you chose for pickup, got few orders available for pickup within 24hours. YMMV

A simple tshirt is fast fashion? Uniqlo t-shirts are of 'horrible quality'? You buy nothing made in Asian countries?

      • +1

        I didn't mention Asia.
Though Uniqlo do owe tens of millions of dollars to underpaid / and unpaid workers in Indonesia alone .
Not only do Uniqlo run sweatshops , but they still don't even pay the minuscule min wage that they agree to.
Horrible company. . and yeh, the clothes r crappy.
        You're an undiscerning consumer

You're pretentious. Do you do background checks on all companies before you buy something?

Has anyone found that the shirts are larger than they were in the 2018 batch?

    • Definitely Longer

  • NO STORE MATCHES WITH YOUR CURRENT SEARCH CRITERIA.

I think it's good to check the stock first for C&C order.

  • These aren’t as good as they used to be. Ascolor staple, although double the price, is heaps better.

    • +3

I find ascolour fits are weirdly long

I bought like 6 last year and they're still going strong while being the heaviest tees in my wardrobe. Like new!!

Quality is poor now that they moved production to Vietnam. The difference between the current stock and the old ones made in India is night and day.

    • Wait I thought it was the other way around. Aren’t they now made in India. I love my made in Vietnam shirts but haven’t been back since they changed it. Would rather they just upped the price 5 $ and kept the quality.

      • Well, all I can tell you personally, I have a bunch that say "Made in India" that are older, and a bunch that say "Made in Vietnam" that are more recent. The newer ones are noticeably lower quality. Not just in the fit and finish, but the handfeel of the material.

  • So whats the difference between this one and the one selling in kmart for $3????

    • +9

      $4.9

    • u have outdated info

The Kmart ones are $4.50 now.
The Big W ones are $4.50 too.
      The Target ones are $8.

  • Only xxs navy available now 😢

Disappointed to see comments saying the quality is gone down hill.

Where is a good place to buy quality plain tshirts these days?

    • +2

Got negged for this upthread, but the $8 "Australian cotton" range from Kmart. Size and colour are a lucky dip, so I always check out what they have that day whenever I'm in store.

Same priced range in Target may even be better, but stock is usually even patchier.

Slim-fit range in H&M if you prefer a V-neck. I generally size up in those, though you may or may not find it necessary to do the same.
