Current on special with Harvey Norman. Not the cheapest ever but pretty good price.
I price matched with JB HiFi because I didn't want to give Gerry Harvey my money.

Bought this last year for $576 pre boxing day. Works great - dual zone is pretty easy to control and it doesn't make too much noise.
46 bottle is probably optimistic - I can't fit more than 6 to 7 bottles per rack. Definitely suggest going to see it in person before pulling the trigger, as it's larger than we expected it to be from the photos.

Yeah, Wine fridges always quote the maximum amount of bottles you can squeeze in (i.e bottles positioned top to bottom on each shelf and stacked where possible).
This is a great size fridge for most households, nonetheless.
Description says 5 slide rail shelves for 46 bottles. You say 6-7 bottles, so say 30-35 bottles. Please confirm.
5 x 6 = 30, 5 x 7 = 35, Half-Life 3 confirmed.
Depends on the bottles. Not all wine bottles are the same. There are 5 sliding racks plus the bottom; I have 6 bottles in most racks, and 7 in one. 37 in total.
Exactly. Most of these fridges use the shorter slimmer (lightweight) Bordeaux bottles (the ones with straight sides - often cabernet sauvignon, merlot, some shiraz etc) to work out maximum bottles. Even the taller Bordeaux bottles don't fit because they are too long to fit in nose-to-nose (cap-to-cap).
I'd bet you would get 46 bottles of Pepperjack Shiraz in it because they are standard Bordeaux bottles.
If you have a lot of Burgundy bottles (the curved sides - typically Shiraz, Pinot Noir & a lot of white wines) then usually you get a lot less. I also have a number of these Burgundy bottles that are a larger diameter and some actually don't fit in the sliding shelves. Usually bubbly bottles don't fit either.
I have managed with some careful bottle selection (reds only) to arrange them so that I get 121 and 120 bottles in my two 121 bottle fridges (not Hisense), but it is fiddly.
The previous model to this Hisense (58 bottle) had a bad habit of carking it just after the warranty was up - mine did, and when I Googled I found that I was not alone. I now have two Sorrento 121 bottle fridges (about $1200 each) which look identical to the equivalent Husky fridge.
I have this and its good. One note though, if its going in the kitchen or somewhere close to living areas. It is very noisy about 50% of the time. You don't really notice until the generator or compressor or whatever shuts off and then beautiful, deathly silence settles over the room.
Is the noise the compressor or a circulation fan ?
My larger 121 bottle Sorrento fridges hardly run the compressor because the are triple glazed and don't get opened often, but they do have a 12cm fan (like a desktop computer fan) that runs for a minute, stopped for a minute (ie. 50% of the time) etc and it is a bit noisy. Mr previous model (58 bottle) Hisense didn't do that.
Lowering the tone but, would it make a good beer fridge? 🤔
Probably not cold enough. Maybe okay for a British ale?
I've found it good for chocolate and medicines too. I've even heard of people keeping fancy cheese in them.
Thanks for that!
It was $549 @ jb's in May last year. Has anybody ever got jb's to price match their own best price?
JB price matched online for me
I need it for that price but for about 300 bottles.
Upvote for not giving money to Gerry!
