  • Why can't we just pay for postage to NSW?

    • -4

It is a VIC only deal.

      • +3

You should be a politician. This is such a nothing answer.

      • -1

neg it sounds like jealous rather than righteous?

        • And we tried to get a suburb to quote freight, would also be interested in what HombrewFC would see as reasonable or be prepared to pay for freight. As currently all of our freight charges are below what it costs us to send something out.

    • OzBargain, not VicBargain?

      • +1

9 years and you haven't noticed the thousands of region-specific deals?

        • users yes….far smaller proportion from reps, smaller still for those offering delivery; IMO they should be nation wide

          • +1

@pointless martyr: Did you make similar comments on all those deals? Simple job to ignore deals which don't meet your particular needs.

It's a straightforward business decision, and for pretty obvious reasons.

            • +1

@Igaf: Thanks for the understanding and support.

It is down to many variables including limitations of our online systems, costs, volume we have, and whether it would be a good deal if we have to cover the additional costs.

Its all pretty standard business considerations really.

Little creatures are doing 16 slabs now?!
This trend needs to end, what is this bull crap…

    • +2

Yep, short dated and short supplied. So the "real" price per slab is 1.5*40 = ~$60 - for short dated beer.

Good news is that they're 375mls not the 13% smaller 330mls some others flog, and you only have to knock over 32 tins in about a month.

  • 12 slabs coming right up

  • +ve revoked.

  • +3

Bargain, maybe. Good deal, definitely not.

  • +1

How is short dated beer a deal

    • +1

Because it is perfectly fine beer for a cheaper price?

      • +1

Nah, beer that's meant to be hoppy like this loses its aroma, flavour and bitterness over time. This deal is very overpriced for a beer that's mediocre when fresh imo.
