I adore this app so much that I bought the lifetime subscription to Balance (purchased at $196, not the ATL. ~breaks even in 3 years)
Tried it during the free trial when they offered through Amex. Loved it.
Their sleep meditations are excellent, especially the regular Sleep one.
Balance has sleep sounds as well which are better than the Google Home ones
I use the Gratitude lesson every day
Have tried many other lessons, such as anxiety, frustration, they even have one for mindful eating.
After 2.5 years+ usage (used up the free trial, then used the free version for a while before purchasing lifetime sub), I still really enjoy the app. The only gripe is that there's still some small bugs with the new additions (particularly the sleep sounds).
Well worth a try.
Great app and highly recommended. Much more enjoyable to use and more effective than any of the other alternatives I've tried. I used the free year and then upgraded to lifetime when it ended too.
As others have said, this is a fantastic app and one I use regularly, especially for naps and getting to sleep when stressed.
I've also bought the lifetime subscription as I wanted to support the developers as I've easily got value for the benefit they've provided.
Try it out on iPhone or Android and I'm sure you'll find something you like. My personally fave is the train ride.
Can you cancel the subscription right after sign up and still use it for the free year? I am very bad at remwmbering to cancel subscriptions last minute.

Shout out to the mandem at Balance, discounted a yearly plan for me when I was low on cash but was really benefitting from the app.
Ofosu’s voice is now linked to calm feelings for me. One of the few apps worth paying for.
I signed up for free trial and my cc got charged $2? Is that just an authentication test which will be refunded? Maybe I missed it but I dont recall seeing any mention of that?
