Howdy y'all, happy weekend
I've a Samsung T7 2TB SSD (NTFS formatted), and the writing speed from one PC (W10 x64 w/SSD) to it is sub 1MB/s all the time, reading from the SSD is fine at ~400MB/s. This is not the case on other PCs writing to it, eg, USFF W11 ~250MB/s, Pi 3 ~50MB/s.
The PC in question has no issues writing to USB 3 64GB thumb drive (~250MB/s), nor 12TB mechanical HDD (~110 MB/s), nor internally between 2 SSDs, nor partitions, speeds are as expected bottlenecked by the lowest denominator.
Besides keyboard/mouse/WiFi dongle (removed them individually and tested), there's nothing else occupying any other USB ports, have tried both the included USB C to C and C to A cables, also bought another C to A cable (USB 3.2 Gen 1), tried all USB ports, tried safe mode and command line transfers, CrystalDiskMark, same results, all drivers have been updated.
In my troubleshooting it seems independantly there's nothing wrong with the PC, and there's nothing wrong with the T7 SSD, yet together they don't work when writing from this one PC to T7 SSD only. It doesn't look to be neither a hardware nor driver issue.
I'm floored by this point, help me you pointy hat wizards.
Is it the same with files of all types and sizes? Have you tried it with your A/V disabled?
