I'm not a fan of returning stuff, but it's going back because it gets stuck every few laps. And by laps, I mean it actually does laps around the outer edge of the floor until it gets stuck.
I've got the hose end weight adjusted so it sits flat. I'm using our already existing hose.
Any ideas sought

And this is exactly why I paid for a proper robot (prowler 920), instead of suction powered one that was just operating with spring setup. Could never get deep half of the pool end covered with suction robot.
Maybe you bought the model that only does corners?
May as well get the robot cleaner, cheaper than paying someone to do it and you obviously don't want to be cleaning your pool for the rest of your life.
We already have a robot, was looking for something to live in the pool for the 6 months of the year that the cover is off. There is plenty of gum leaves over winter

Aldi are great with returns, if it doesn't do what you want it to then return it. Unless of course the PEBPACCPC.
You've given me flashbacks to my childhood, where the kids with pools all had creepy crawlys that just did laps around the edge. I often used to wonder how that was supposed to clean the entire pool, and it appears that nothing has changed since.
